CLD 2/3 Axis Camera Gimbal
I finished the design for the 2 and 3 Axis Gimbal for Mini CCD Cameras. Go Pro Hero will be available soon too. Excellent if used with a FY20A or FY30A stabilization system or similar. Its made from laser cut 1/8" ABS Plastic, it will come with a universal camera mount "CCD board cameras" and I will have other dedicated mounts available for KX131/171, DPC-161, Hobby King CCD camera and more. The GoPro version will be available also this next week. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PcPZfjhM5OM

RE: RC Airboat builders
I have been disconnected from this forum because I have been busy on a new job, but I started designing Airboats last year and I'm glad to say that I have customers from all over the world, and here in the US. over 80+ anarchy airboats sold already. The R/C airboat fever is there, people are very interested in this sport. Airplane/Car guys are more interested in this hobby than boaters. I will come with new designs this year and new sizes, I believe this sport will be huge. Feedback on the airboats in general is very good.

RE: aluminum airboats
I have a Lincoln Weld Pak 3200 (120v) MIG welder and I bought the aluminum welding kit for it and I love it, but I need a new Argon tank for it. with a little practice you can get very nice welds, how thick are you going to make your hulls?

I knew CY engines where good, but with that pipe is awesome. how many cc's is that engine? 25cc, 27cc? I will be buying one this motors for my redesigned Anarchy gas hull for sure. I had bad experiences with CDi engines. Great built by the way, I might buy one of those hulls from you someday, runs great.

RE: what is considered
My Anarchy airboat Built and Sealed weights 1.27lbs (20.32 ounces) without electronics. and about 2lbs with electronics and battery. Here you can find a video and info on the setup I use. Sometimes been lightweight works good on grass and pavement, but it also affects stability.

Holy crap thats a big engine, I'm glad to see more anarchy owners here, good job on that built I was working on a gas version of the anarchy but I had a bad engine to start with and very little time to play with the design. Here is the video of the Anarchy gas version "prototype . I plan to start this project again on December , gas airboats are really fun.

RE: CLD 26cc Gas Airboat
I have been working on this engine since I bought it, I think the walbro carb that came with was faulty because I was unable to make it work right for long periods , I installed a bigger carburetor used on 50cc engines, and so far throttle is smoother, I still need to adjust the high end needles to get more RPM, I'm missing a few RPMs compared to the old carb, I'm right now on 8900-9100 tops with stock setting on this new carb, and its a little rich. I was getting 10,000 + with the other carb wich works great on full throttle but unstable on low RPMS. I will be building the revised hull soon but I need to get the engine working right. hundreds of peoples bought this engine and had excellent results :(, the power is there I just need ot find it :)
ORIGINAL: nitromandh I have an airboat that sits level in the water, the sides are exacly the same, and the rudders turn left as much as they do right. The airboat does not have slanted sides. Where the sides meets the bottom, it formes a 90 degree angle. It does a sliding turn to the left very well, but not to the right. What can be wrong!?!?!?!?!?
Its a small or big airboat?
ORIGINAL: res3567 Hey....did you ever get that medium size boat produced? Been waiting to check it out...........
I'm working on newer design for bigger sized hulls. They will use a Big brushless motor equivalent to a 30cc engine, or Glow and Gas engines as well. Everytime I buy materials for the prototypes I end up using them for new orders. I'm hoping to have the new hull finished by end of July. Carlos

I would like to see pictures or videos of your airboats, I have sold over 50 of this airboats already mostly international sales, but some of you should have videos or pictures of your built, I'm also interested on hearing your reviews and your suggestions about the airboat so I can improve the second version. I will do this mod next, I just removed the sponsons on the sides, I will try the ones at the bottom, maybe 1/4 to 1/8 tall and see.
ORIGINAL: 2manytoyz Carlos, You might try locating a couple of skegs as Dennis did on his airboat. These really made a huge difference in the performance & handling. These are in the water a lot more than ones on the sides of the hull. Might make a difference. I plan on adding one on the bottom center of my Anarchy as well.
