RE: JET LEGEND VIPER BUILD THREAD
Thanks for the reply, I'll have a look at the settings tomorow. Ill also give the ecu a chance to learn the Transmitter settings. This engine I got off a buddy, only has just over a hour on it, but had been sittng still for awile. So we suspect a bit of oil or gunk may be binding up the pump a little. I have "exercised the pump thru about 6 litres, but may do a bit more tomorow. I ran it again this arvo, and it didnt flame out on me, but still the idle was a bit erratic. Everything else was good. Very fast acceration. Some blue flames on acceration. Just a bit flamey on start, and certainly makes some interesting sounds. If all else fails, Ill get a new pump. Matt

RE: JET LEGEND VIPER BUILD THREAD
Cheers Jeff, I suspect the pump may be the problem. Fuel system is good, no probs there. Matt

RE: JET LEGEND VIPER BUILD THREAD
Hey fellas. A question for those of you using the Spark T12 turbine. I just run mine for the first time, and had 3 Flameouts! It says,Speed low. So I adjusted the idle speed up tp 35000, happened again. Idle seems very unstable, especially compared to my K 80 and K 140. Some small flames and popping on start up to, not a hot start, but would like to sort this out. Plane wont fly until I trust the engine 110%. And I really want to fly her soon.... There are no bubles in the fuel system, it's all been checked under load and is working fine. At a loss, cuz all my other engines have always been trouble free. No real learning I suppose. So now I learn.... Other than that Full power is good and stable, transition is very fast. Matt

RE: JET LEGEND VIPER BUILD THREAD
Thanks Jeremy, I'll look it up. Really want to avoid the whole servo thing, kinda undoes the whole idea of the ecu/valves ect being in turbine. Matt

RE: JET LEGEND VIPER BUILD THREAD
Hey Guys, of those who are operating the Spark T 12 with the internal valves and ecu. How did you go about installing the fail safe/kill switch for this engine? It's got me stumped, only a throttle cable to rx and the pump leads to from turbine. Matt

RE: Jet legend red arrow hawk help.
Yeah, move the Cg to 145mm aft. Mine flew beautifully at that setting. Absolutely no problem rotating off grass with a K80. Matt

RE: JET LEGEND VIPER BUILD THREAD
Thanks Mike, I got it sorted, I brought the end points up and brakes are now working, or at least the valves are. Havent hooked up the lines ect yet. Yeah it appears that the markings on the control board are the wrong way around. Talk about making me think...... no instructions and contructed back to front....sheesh. Cheers for ya help fellas.. RE: JET LEGEND VIPER BUILD THREAD
Thanks Mike, can you confirm that the bake valve is the black one? I'll give it a try. The circuit board is tell ing me the gear and brakes are opposite. Matt

RE: JET LEGEND VIPER BUILD THREAD
The 2 white valves are the gear up/gear down valves? Yeah Ive got them switcing over, on/off. The red leds. but strangely, it's marked as the brakes in the little circuit board. Bloody confusing. Matt

RE: JET LEGEND VIPER BUILD THREAD
Hey guys, can anyone give me a heads up how to operate the JL electronic gear valves. Never used this b4, always servos ect. Im using a JR DSX 9 system. I plug in the gear plug to gear on the rx and one valve lights up, the other does nothing. So far the brake valve is not doing anythind at all. What am I doing wrong? Theres no F$%$^ing instructions, so I'm guessing at best. cheers Matt

RE: Lado E-Door Rams. How to attach?
Yeah, certainly are large, originally was going in my JL Hawk, but to large and I couldnt be bothered. Now they are fitted in my JL F 15, very east to use, but very powerfull. Make sure all your attachments for the linkages are strong, if not I think they would tear right off. Easy to set up tho. And ya doors are tight, they wont suck out under aerodynamic force. I like em. Matt

RE: Lado E-Door Rams. How to attach?
Funnily enough I ordered some last week and received them today! Outstanding, France to Australia. But the first set I ordered must have taken over a month, so I guess if we average them out thus far, 2 weeks .... Matt

Lado door actuators
Gday fellas, I received some Lado door actuators. Kinda bulky, but nice and sturdy. I tried to use them in my gear sequencer, which was already set up for air. And worked with the air system faultlessly. But when I tried the Lado's nuthin, they work on they're own thru a gear channell no worries. I'm using the Jet Legend sequencer a simple little jobbie, otherwise branded as a rc bee sequencer. Any body got any suggestions?? Cheers Matt

RE: Mig 15 With Jetcat P20 Build Thread
Thanks mate, Ive read your thread a few time, has been very handy for the build. I will balance her there at the bump. About 170mm back from LE where it joins the fuz. It'll work out nice. cheers Matt
