dumb question
im wanting to build a traxxas bandit with an after market body on it, is the bandit vxl chassis the same as the rustler vxl chassis?

i found the bodies i want im just needing an electric buggy i can give to my dad to play with, im making the car look exactly like his real dirt modified car. hes new to rc cars and so am i so i need something that will stand up to curbs and parked cars and other stuff u can run into. ill look at electrix in the mean time

ive looked on ebay and amazon....i need the car because im giving it as a present, the body im putting on it is a dirt oval modified body on it to match his actual dirt track modified(mini me) ive lloked at traxxas and they can get pretty high. it doesnt have to be traxxas but i dont know who is good, losi? kyosho? any others....

buggy?
does anyone know where i can find an electric traxxas bandit? i dont care if it has a body or not because im putting a different body on it. im needing 2 of them...i have a litlle cash and maybe a trade to get the 2 cars. im open to other manufacturers other than traxxas but i dunno whats good. let me know what u have and a price please.

i have a traxxas stampede stadium truck, it has a green tacon motor on the back and a velineon vxl-3s unit on top, a venom power 4200 9.6v nimh battery no mods to the truck - bone stock and yes i think my motor is dead, but im looking for something good but wont cost me my left arm...and is there a beter speed control unit or stay where im at?

i have a tacon motor in my brushless stampede(i think thats how its spelled) i was wondering whats another good electric motor to put in a brushless system? is a titan any good?

i have a brushless stampede, and i dont have any problems out of it. when i first got it i had some bare wires showing but i took care of that problem. mine does about 60mph from what the hobby shop told me yesterday. mine i a 2wd tho, so im sure the 4wd is better

ok, i got the reciever mounted and the fuel lines ran. i had to buy a new exaust pipe and a new front bulkhead. i think ive got everything together on it, ran some cleaner thru the motor and put a new glow plug in it. my only problem right now is getting the carb/brake servo hooked up and functioning properly. i looked on ebay and the condition that mine was in in that picture i wouldnt have gotten anything for it, not even the money i have into for new parts. i was trying to get some money to convert mmy other rc10gt to brushless and put a dirt oval modified body on it. that way i would have my brushless GT and my brushless stampede. i have 2 complete rolling rc10gt's and building the third. just trying to get money to put into the other 2. sorry

the chassis is flat all the way, the tires are foam.....and i dont think there is a transmission on it, seems to be direct drive by the way this is the old car ive been talking about i got and prolly worth a whole lot of nothing

that would be my problem, its just a wheel...there are no bearings in them!! where can i find bearings for the front wheels? and the other back wheels i have look pretty chewed on on the inside, should i get new ones or would they be ok?

it only does it if i hit a bump hard enough. the shocks looked to soft so i put some clips on the shocks to make them stiffer and its doing it alot less now. im thinking i have a bad wire but i do agree that stuff is able to move too easily and i need to secure it dowm now i have a question about my rc10gt, im trying to put wheels on it and the back wheels go on and fit fine....the front wheels dont? any thoughts?

the stampede is complete...ive been running it around the parking lot for a couple of days now. i posted the pics of it without the body on it but it keeps loosing power or it turns itself off when u hit a bump hard enough
