make a skid to replace the ali one balsa or plywood if you havnt got ali just check CG afterwoods and if your motor can turn prop that fast you should be ok

tower hobbies yer very nice if i had $30 to send it would go on something a lot better than that nothing wrong with my piece of ply and velco and 2 not so good 3c lipos god man thats a gallon of fuel and some glow plugs for me thats 6 months flying but yer nice if you got the money

hi yer sorry would help most of the time i use to do this test on grass but now i have a table that i use and scale conected to my fence motor is a mark one or two not sure Irvine 61 normal muffler and i tested 12 x6 11x7 and 11 x 4 with a smaller muffler from a 40 size i was only getting 9000 rev on a 12 x 6 and it would not take off put on a 60 muffler had to shorten a little to fit and now on a 11 x 7 12600 rev and 2 kg pull on the scales i have not had a chance to fly it yet

thrust to weight how to measure it ?
am i right on the ground i put a rope a round the tail with a set of scales on it between the holding stake at full power take a measure of 2 kg at 12000 rev on my tacho plane is a great plane extra weight 3.2 kg am i right in thinking that this should be more pull on the scales or cant it be measured in this way

if you dont have enough power on 1 3 cell i put 2 together in parra on mine just right to use the not so good lipos starts my 90 webra easy put a belt clip on it then on hook it on your belt when you go out on the patch saves the long walk back to the pitts for a restart

from ebay got ths veco 61 it has a nipple on crank case been blanked off i use the muffler for tank feed the engine surges do i try the crank case nipple ?

the ar500 has a second ailon input /aux channel and all mixing you can need the ar6001 limit is about 300meters on test with plane about meter off ground the ar500 work at least half mile ( i crashed that far out ) on the ar500 the long antenna make the end of it go 90 degree to the short one and ar6200 if you can see it you got signal just remember to have the rubber duck on tx pointing straight up to sky but yer great peice of kit

if you put a futaba crystal in sanwa tx and use a futaba rx with futaba crystal it does not work but if you use guanli crystal some reason they work with sanwa tx and futaba rx and work with futaba tx and rx together so luck of the draw in the uk

RE: skysports 6 D/R switch problem
if i got tx connected to pc and have test up with the sliding bars for each channel with sticks at neutral then flick the D/R switch the sticks stay same it is only when i pull all the way back at the last 4mm of travel then channel 1 3 4 all move by about quarter of travel 1 4 go right and 3 if at full goes to quarter or if at low revs goes up by quarter of movement ?
