RE: Ziroli P51
Thanks Dan. The space between the engine and the cowl is only 3/4 inch at the nearest point. This one is 1.5 inches plus the mounting block. Also, not much hieght. I think I'm going to use the Bisson wrap around and have a welding friend cut the manifold down and grind a bit ot the mounting block away. Cheers /colin

RE: CH-Ignitions Jump Start
Thanks, Pe. Good idea. I've always been nervous of the idea of EI since if the battery goes so does the engine. But, of course, these days of advanced battery design I expect there isn't much of a problem if you can charge it up between flights. Where in Holland? I used to work for HP and would visit Amsterdam (Amstelveen) all the time. Cheers /colin

RE: Spacewalker power
Thanks. A lot of good information. Here's the issue. I have a G-38 and I'm looking for a set of wings to put it in. I like the Spacewalker and I know the 1/3 scale is too big for the 38. So I was hoping that someone would recommend the 1/4 scale for the engine. Cheers /colin

Has anyone put a G-38 in a 1/4 scale (Seagull) Spacewalker? I have a G-38 spare and it needs wings. If not the 1/4 Spacewalker, then I'd be happy to hear some suggesions. Can't break the bank either. Thanks

RE: axe cpv3 better battery and upgrades
How did it go. I tried the same, but the HK401 didn't work with the Plush 10A. The ESC worked without the gyro and the gyro worked with servos, but not with the ESC. When I replaced the RX with a Futaba the Gyro and ESC worked fine. cheers /colin

HK401B on a CPv3
Hi. I'm trying to install a HK401B into a CPv3. I have installed a new brushless tail motor and ESC. It works when plugged into the RX channel 4. It does not work when connected via the HK401B. However, If I replace the ESC with a standard servo, the servo operates perfectly to tail movements. So it appears the the gyro is working with a servo but not the ESC and the ESC is working direct on the Rx but not with the Gyro. Anyone care to offer a solution. BTW, Where does the single wellow wire go. There is already the orange wire from the CPv3 electornics plugged in. If I remove that and replace it with the yellow wire on the HK401B the main motor doesn't work. I'd appreciate any help. Thx /colin

Thanx. I just replaced a burned 3-1 and tail motor. Added a 3Amp fuse to protect the 3-1. But is the stock gyro a heading hold? The instructions say to let the heli stand for 10 seconds to set the gyro so I assume it is. If not, what else is it? Cheers
