RE: All of these ARFs being massed produced...
It seems like it would be a dream job but I have talked to many guys in the hobby that make a living in the hobby and they say it was a dream and now it's a job. It was only a dream job for a short time. They actually talked me out of it. I'm going to keep it as my hobby!

RE: 1st Heli
Hello and welcome. I'm not sure about the Revell brand but the biggest thing to look at as a beginner is support and parts. Have you looked at any of the Blade coaxial or fixed pitch helis. They are well known and parts are available and cheap. As far as cost, the term "you get what you pay for" is evident in helis. Often times the cheaper helis don't fly well and if you break something the parts are nonexistent. I would recommend checking out Blade. There are many good used helis out there too. Pm me any time if you need any help or advice.

RE: thunder tiger e325
Ok I was thinking about the tail pitch slider. You are talking about the arm that the servo rod goes to. You should have a bushing and washer that goes in to keep it from binding when you tighten the screw that holds it in place. It sounds like it's binding against the bearing.

RE: thunder tiger e325
Is it stiff or does it seem like it just won't move? You might try to oil it and free it up or take the tail shaft out and sand it down just a little.

RE: Regarding 3 Channel RC Helicopter
Ok it's hard to tell from the pics but are both of the motors turning when power is applied?

RE: Regarding 3 Channel RC Helicopter
Do you have two motors on the bottom? One spins the top rotor and the other spins the bottom. Are they both spinning when you apply power?

RE: Regarding 3 Channel RC Helicopter
Ok, it looks like the maingear has disengaged from the motor. The main shaft that holds the blades has two large gears on the bottom of it. Make sure those gears are still in line with the motors. If they are not, try pushing down on the top of the heli and up on the gears to realign them. Can you get me some pics without the canopy on? And up close on the bottom?

I'm sure it can. You may or may not need parts but I know it can be fixed. Can you take some pics so we can see what's going on?

RE: Need suggestions for 1st Heli
Those are great recommendations but also consider the coaxial micros for good indoor fun. The blade mcx is a perfect starter heli. It teaches the basics and is stable enough to hover hands off. He will find out quick if he is going to like helis or not with one of these choices. Good luck and if you need anymore assistance just let us know.

RE: Thunder Tiger Mini Titan
Why not go with an Align 450Pro V2? As for radio, I have an airtronics10 channel but the 8 channel will do just fine. It has a few more heli features than the 6ch. If you are interested, pm me. I can get you a great deal on the Align kit. It comes with everything but radio and battery. Thanks!

RE: AMA and park fliers, another thought.
I think that the AMA should recognize parkflyers as a SIG. I find myself trying to find a safe place to fly that is close to home. My flying site where I fly my nitro planes is about 30min. away and it's not practical to drive that far in the afternoon for a 15 or 20min flight.
