RE: Funtana S40 engine
Two strokes are good engines! I like them because of their easy maintenance. I will be installing an OS Surpass II 70 in the 40s. It's what I have on hand. I need to finish installing the servos, engine-carving the cowl, electronics, and balance. I'm looking forward to this bird.

RE: Santa Fe Dam RC done in from the inside
I'm getting sick and tired of one or two individules who do not get their way ruining it for the rest of the members. The club should have met and discussed the issue and vote! The ama needs to do the same and have open dialog with the members! This type of response by the ama leaves a bad inkling with R/Cers. The club operated 35 years and it comes down to this?? What gives these days? Not good.

RE: New Seagull Edge 540 "68
I picked up the edge 540 and installed an evolution 1.00NX in it, but I have not had a chance to fly it yet. The wind has been terrible here!! I'm going to try the CG at 100mm for the first flight. I'm hoping the evo 1.00NX pulls this bird well.

RE: Module vs. new radio?
I'm happy with the spektrum module in my 9C! It was easy to install and use. I have had zero issues with the set up. Latency time? I'm not good enough to know! I hear people talk about it; however, I use the raido on a 120 swash and can't see any servo differences when "banging" the sticks. I don't know maybe it's just me! I'll keep my 9C it's paid for and performs well for me! You can't go wrong with a module for your 9C. JMHO

RE: Good Heading Hold gyro for small electric heli?
Pickup a Logitech 2100. They are around 100.00. I use one on a trex450. It's done me well, and they're online videos to show you how to set it up.

9254 servo temperature
Quick question, I have a GY 401 w/9254 servo. After flying for 10min, the servo case is quite warm to the touch is this normal? Here are my settings ds=on, reversed, delay=o, endpoints=80, mode=GY (AVCS=100%, and Normal=100%). ALso, there is no binding in the linkage. I do not want to burn up the servo and lose a heli; that's all. Thank you

GY401 w/9254 is great and hitec HS-635 (analog) or HS-5475 (digital) would work fine!

RE: E-flight 20 amp= junk
The 370 (EFLM1205) 1360kv requires a 2 cell li-po battery. Try a two cell and see if this works better?

I was looking at the YS 63. Did you have to add weight to the nose to balance? What size of prop did you use? Thank you.

I received a u-can-do 3D .46 too; what type of servos do you plan to use? Are there any u-can-do .46 owners that have good opinions? How about the hobbico CS-64s for low budget? I'm also thinking about a OS 70 II for the plane?

I own a super tigre 45 and have had nothing but success with it! They are on sell at tower for $69.99. You might try this engine! GMS should be a good engine too.
