RE: WHen lifting heli goes left.....
I read all this stuff on setting one up my problem is where to start with putting all the numbers in the TX,I have no idea on the settings.I totally destroyed a nexes 30 about a week ago just trying to get it off the ground.I fly giant scale planes no problem,I'd love to fly choppers I would not need an air field.there is not anyone around to get me started.oh well.

most times I get an engine I like then build the plane around it,everything I build is giant scale 120" or more.I prefer gas only.drill & emboss first.

RE: Zenoah G-23 Parts?
I have an older G-23 in a sig 1/4 scale cub,Lowes has the togle switches,go from the coil to the switch and from the switch to any place on the motor to ground it out to stop the engine( 2 way switch).the motor swings a 16/8 to a 18/6 they both pull the plane nicely and I'm at 4900 ft,you being at almost sea level should work well.and I am using penzoil air cold at 40:1.there is 128oz to a gal.devide 40 into 128 or any other mix of oil and you will have the oz's you need for the ratios.

RE: Looking for my 1st build.
Good for you bill for joining us who still build from plans or scratch, myself I do not use any kickers in glueing I have the time to wait for the glue to set up on its own,and the kit you want build would be a good starter,be sure to pay attention to the book and the plans as you go,you will need a building table about 18"X 48"and flat.other then that have fun with your first plane, its habit forming.and I"m if you need help in any way alot of us will be more than glad to help with any questions or problems you may run into.George.

RE: The all inclusive Chinese engines thread
About the SV100 I got the only thing I done to it was machine .0020 on the plug holes so I could use the cm-6 plugs because the ones that came with it had an 1/8 washer spacer which when I seen that I flipped so I called CH and they recommended that fix and it worked, that was the only thing I had to do to it and runs perfect.I choke it until gas pours out the carb 2 flips and we are ready, good power, good tork 24-10 4blade.mabee I got a rare one.
