Wow you mean hanger 9 has parts stocked!? I waited seven months for a cowl for my blue nose! How long before they discontinue the over priced tigermoth I just got? I'm done with them.

Hey guys, i have a hanger 9 blue nose p 51 with an os 120 surpasIII pumped and cant seem to find a 90 degree in cowl header for that engine. Does anyone know of one that will work? Thanks, Joe Morrison

i have a thunder tiger 2000 trainer with an os .46, a raptor f22 with a small glow trainer, a p51 40 size with a .60nx evo. the fuel is almost $30 a gallon. for which most seems to exit the muffler. My next project is going to be a top flight p51 giant rtc and the os 55 gas looks real good once you get over the sticker shock. but will it have the power? and wont it pay for itself in fuel cost?

Im going to be flying at sangamon valley flyers out by pawnee. i guess i should of asked more questions when i bought it, but didnt. Im glad you replied thanks. i think ill just fix the retracts and leave the rest like it is. it has an sk-90 in it now but i suffer from more cubic inch syndrome so im wondering what would be the perfect engine? any ideas? thanks, joe morrison

After looking at the struts at robart.com i see what went wrong. Theres two types, one for robostruts and one for 3/16 wire. Guess which one i got? Why would they include the 3/16 wire landing gear in a kit that takes 7/16 robostruts Hmmm?

Ordered these retracts when i ordered my hanger 9 p 51 arf. went to put them on and as you can see the hole is to big. took them to my local hobby shop were i ordered both the plane and the retracts and was told i needed adapters, well got the adapters and they dont fit either. called horizon hobby and sent same picture and been waiting for someone to get back to me. anybody have this problem? am i doing something wrong?

thanks for the info chris. maybe ill run into ted at the flying field this spring. the guy i got it from said the guy he got it from stalled on take off. engine failure.

thanks acdii, i guess that would explain col ted conley on the canopy, as far as the covering im not sure but if i had to guess id say Monokote. and the retcacts are wore out. they say robart on the struts but there cable hooked to a servo not air. you have to invert the plane to get them to lock up. i will try to take pictures and post them. i would realy like to make this plane like new, i havnt been around to long but i can tell this baby is well built.

64.5 on the span, it needs alot of work. it had been crashed and repaired. i was thinking top flight too.
