3PM servo alinment problems
i have a problem with my radio. it seems that when i turn the steering servo, it doesn't always come back to center. is there something that can be done with this radio or is it junk? the servo is good as it is the same one i ran with my spectrum and it always went back to center. my friend has same radio and his seems to do it too? has anyone else had this problem and if so what did you do? thanks inadvance.

RE: official hotbodies lsp thread
newkid, do you have the stadium 2? my rear axal kept popping out on jumps. i bought the lst axal's and now it works great. i've been racing mine all summer and doing pretty well. it's my first year of racing so making the a mains was my goal. well i acheived that and now want my first win. it's great fun racing and we have alot of great people racing at our track so that helps. i think i'm running 7 10 5, front center rear, in the diffs although i like 15 or so in the center. shocks i run 55 all around. i have the stock white springs on the front but some blue mugens on the rear. still alittle push in the turns.

o.k. so a few different experiences with these motors. now i put the mkII on my buggy and the thing flies. bottom doesn't studder at all. what the hell is going on????????? could it be the weight difference? i maybe wrong about this engine. i'm running the standard plug in it. would the turbo plug make a performance difference that would be noticiable?

RE: STS Engines
o.k. 46u it sounds like you have run one of these motors before. did you run the sts pipe with it? did you have it on a truggy? i had mine on a truggy and the bottom really struggled. now i take off all the clutch parts and put them on a v spec, thats an OS motors for all the dumb asses in here, and not a problem. same pipe as well. my main question is basicly if anyone else has had problems with these motors, plain and simple. why is it so hard for people to just answer the question on these forums?????????????

RE: STS Engines
can someone tell me what settings they use on a mkII? the bottom end sucks badly and no matter what settings i use it struggles to get up and go. i had the sts pipe on it, the .21 pipe, i tried the dynamite ht pipe, a rtr pipe that came on a kysho buggy and a pipe that came with my hotbodies truggy. I think the kysho pipe worked the best and that wasn't that great. And yes i put plumbers tape on the needles too. any help would be greatly appereated.

not a bad day racing my monsoon
well the racing went pretty well today. besides a stripped servo arm, nothing broke and scored second in the b main. out of 9 or 10 truggies, not bad for my second time out. it was sad though, i lead the whole race, which was 10 minutes, until the last lap when nerves gave in and i crumbled under pressure. took a corner to sharp and got caght up and had to wait for a marshall to save me. to late there went second, i mean first now. what a disapointment. i wanted to bump up to the a main to see if i could run with the big dogs. my steering was sticking some, only to the left though, which also made me quite slow around corners. i had to take alook when i got home and it was the ball joints seemed to have tightened up on them so they couldn't turn as free as they should. they do now though. in two weeks it maybe a different story. i'll keep you posted.

is this oil to much in a truggy thats running a .21? i ask because this is whats in mine now and my off the line speed isn't to great but once it gets going it flies. the motor is a mega .21. could it be that i just need a bottom end pipe? if so what would give me better low end? right now i'm running a dynamite high torq pipe. any suggestions would be great. exept to learn to type!

now this is cute. the owner himself trying to sell some parts when he won't return any email from me about getting the regular head botton for my motor that was suppose to come with the motor but didn't. then when i send him my first email he say's he'll send it right away. guess what, never did. now he don't return any emails about this. now i know it's not that much for one, but why buy one when it's suppose to come with the motor. SO I WOULD HAVE TO SAY NOT TO BUY FROM THIS GUY, NITROCOUNTRYRC, GO WITH THE OTHER STORE MENTIONED ABOVE. THANX FOR NOTHING

RE: Redcats Monsoon Thread
to change over to pbs you need to get upper arms, lower arms, the pbs hubs, and the balls. if you use parts from a team vtx truggy it's a direct fit. your axals and wheel nuts will fit right to gether with the vtx parts. go to highbanksrc to find the parts but make sure the parts are for the truggy and not the buggy. these are the parts i did mine with and it works great.

RE: Caster ZX-1 RTR or OFNA Ravager?
do any of you caster guys come up and race in wisconsin? mainly madison. would like to see the set ups on your buggies for racing. i got one during winter so i haven't really had it out much. plus i'm breaking in a motor right now and i don't like to rush this process. and now i just got a new sts mill that i will probably put on it so that will need to be broke in and i heard these that quite some time. i do think this buggy is pretty nice for the price i got it for. its the older model so i got all the carbon fiber parts and alot of other nice parts to. from what i see when running it during breakin, it turns alot better that my old buggy, so thats a plus. can't wait to get it on the track. does anyone know who the big team sponsered drivers are?

nitro country store?
i ordered a motor from these guys and was suppose to get a regular and turbo head button but only received the turbo. i wanted both so i can breakin the motor with a cheaper plug and then switch to the turbo. i sent them an email about the matter and they said they would send me the button asap. never got it. didn't see that coming did you? anyway i waited awhile and shot them afew more emails and now no reply at all? so i want to know if anyone else has had problems with these guys or if maybe they went out of bussiness or possibly just didn't receive my last two emails? I DON'T WANT THIS TO BE A PLACE TO BASH THIS STORE IF IT IS A GOOD PLACE BUT I WOULD LIKE THE OWNER TO AT LEAST HAVE THE CURTESY TO REPLY TO MY EMAIL EVEN IF HE ISN'T GOING TO GET ME A REGULAR BUTTON. thanks much just alittle pissed off.

14 tooth clutch bell
SO I PUT a 14 tooth bell on my monsoon this weekend and i have to say i liked how it worked. the take off was still there and the top speed was great. it was nice because it took away alot of the torq on takeoff that only makes your tires spin and gets your truggy loose.
