Four stroke tuned pipes?
hi all, im new to four stroke engines. i've seen some four stroke engines with tuned pipes attached. how does this benefit the performance of the engine? the theory behind tuned pipes is to increase the combustion volume of fuel/air mix in 2-stroke engines, thereby increasing power output. 4-stroke engines by design will have its combustion chamber close at the exhause cycle. how is this beneficial to the power output of the engine? thanks
