I see that a few people are have fuel cells that are leaking. Just to let you know, I manufacture these cells for Modellbau USA. I pressure check each cell before I ship them. Maybe I missed one or two? I try my best to ship an acceptable product for the price paid for these airplanes. I will stand behind these cells and repair or replace leaking tanks free of charge. Jetfan, You can fix it with glass and epoxy resin. Rough the area to be patched with sand paper then clean it with acetone. It should work fine. If you dont want to fix it, Dreamworksrc has and Upgraded version that they sell.....its really nice. It also has the machined fuel fitting as well. Thanks, Derrick

Jetfan20, Was the tank damaged during shipping, dropped, crushed or damaged when it was installed into the jet. I manufacture these tanks for the Tornado and it could be repaired easily or replaced. If you want to fix it or replace it let me know. If it came like that when you opened the box maybe you can get a hold of Modellbau USA and they can replace it. I personally pressure check every tank before I ship them and it sounds like it was damaged between the time I shipped it and when you received it. Thanks, Derrick

RE: Eurosport Turbine Choice
It will fly on 30lbs of thrust. Flys great on 36lbs. I had a 160SX in mine. If I were to build another one I would go with the new 180RX. Since you already have an AMT Pegusus SP with 36-37lbs should be great. Use the intakes. There will be a lot of air going into the fuse with a 37lb thrust turbine. Oh, I did do a few mods to mine as well. Heres a pic of my last one. Derrick

Hey Dave, This is Derrick from Louisiana. My family and I were planning on comming again.....What are the dates again. It was a blast Last year. So are you still working on your Ultra Bandit? I am working on a one of a kind Ultra Lightning with a P-200sx. I should have it done in a couple of weeks. It will have a custom paint job. Are going to put a P-200sx in your Ultra Bandit. Do you know about the new Evo Jet Engines???? They make a 180VX....same weight and size as a P160 but 40 plus pounds of thrust. Was seriously thinking of using that engine. Anyway.....if the dates are right we should be able to make it this year. P.S. I still have my T28 which I ran into your Habu last year....its all patched up....LOL. Thanks Derrick

Todd, How about Electric or Hydraulic brakes.......would like to get rid of the air pump. Electric actuated retracts.....I know there are some out there....but some heavy duty ones. And YES....direct mechanism steering nose retract unit. Derrick

I run Kero Start in all my JetCat engines. I used to have probelms all the time like you are having till I switched to a 4000 mAh Li-poly packs for the ECU. I never had a missed start ever since. In the past I was using 5000 mAh nickel metal packs.....that was the problem. I am currently using some A123's......they are awesome!!! Derrick

Mine wieghs around 26 lbs with fuel Fuel capacity is about 1 gallon. The Falcon has the same dimensions as the BVM Bobcat and wieghs about the same as the Falcon with fuel. My Falcon flys very well. Derrick
