i'm not having a lot of luck getting my graphics needs fulfilled. i've have sent out a scan of the plans and received proposals that aren't even close. does anyone have a recommendation for a good graphics artist?

i think they are a integral part of the arrow's look. i say go for it. compete with something simple but why put all the effort into such a classic and take a shortcut?

it is a great day for painting. maybe too dry though, as the paint dried quickly. but the wing and control surfaces are ready for color.

i like the scale drawing of the retracts idea. i think my finished King Kobra kit plan has a scale drawing of a spring air retract on it. i need to throw that box away anyway, i'll take a look.

RE: Best Retracts for Curare
didn't that curare in the photo expire (or rekit)? the retracts work the same but you may need to layout the various components on the plans in order to decide. do you need to borrow a tank floor mount nose gear to help you decide?

i got a light coat of primer sprayed yesterday before i stopped. i saw a couple of areas in need of attention. actually i ran out of my mixed batch of 2 part primer so it worked out well. the perfect weather today called for flying so any painting this weekend had to wait until sunday.
