RE: *RedCat Racing Tornado EPX Thread*
I just purchased a Redcat Tornado EPX Pro and I like it alot. I have some of my Earthquake 8E Lipos that I put in there and it becomes a crazy fast car. My question is what can I add to the car to have a low voltage cutoff. I ran 1 lipo and I threw it on the charger. Both cells were at 3.0 volts. I know going below 3.2v is bad. Can I program the Novotech ESC? Any help would be great!! Mark

RE: Charging NI-MH and Ni-Cd
Yes I understand that! Mine will do all batteries. I guess I was asking things like charging rates and overall voltage after full charges. I didnt ask the right questions at first.

Charging NI-MH and Ni-Cd
I have a 2200 mAh Ni-Cd and a 2000 mAh Ni-MH. I also have a Battman B6-50W bal charger. I am new to these batteries. I usely charge Lipos. Do I just use the correct settings on the bal charger and charge like a lipo? I know to use the Ni-MH and Ni-Cd settings. Do I charge at 1C or less. Please help. mark

Just got a brand new earthquake 8E for URCHobby. Love it!! I am going to ask a stupid question. I am new to this rc stuff. Is the 2 front tires supposed to be toed out? If I line up the front right with the read right then the left front is pointed out. Is this correct or do I need to adjust the toe? Please help. Remember I am a newbie!! Be kind! Mark

RE: Need some advice!
Well, I have flown the SR. I made my own training gear and took it outside. I got it up about 3 or 4 ft and hovering for alittle then the wind takes it away. I was able to land it ok ( thanks to the gear ) It is harder than I tought. It is addictive though. Going out this am also. Mark

Redcat Backdraft 8E vs Redcat Earthquake 8E
Looking to to get one of these 2 1/8 scale Buggies. Does anyone know the difference between the 2 of them? I know they look different but I am looking for the guts of it. My buddy is going to get the one I don't get. We were wondering if the parts were the same on the two beside the cosmetics. Any help is appreciated! Mark

Blade SR Batteries Upgrade?
Just purchased the Blade SR on the 3rd. I have been trying to find a battery upgrade. This question maybe in the forum somewhere but I do appologize if it is. It comes with a 3C 11.1v 1000 mAh 15C 15amp battery. It has the JST type connector. WHat can I do if I want a 1500 mAh or bigger battery? Just looking for more run time. I have seen bigger batts but they have the EC3 type connetor. Can I just cut that off and wire a JST to it. Please correct me if I am way off base with what I am thinking. Just new to all this stuff and trying to learn. Help! Mark

RE: Need some advice!
Well I called another LHS in the area and they had an E-Flite Blade SR on the shelf and now it's in my room. I went with the "go ahead and get the 6 ch" advice. Checking everything out and reading the manual tonight. The sales guy said this transmitter has a training mode I could use. Maybe that will help me out. Thanks for all the advise!!! Mark

RE: Need some advice!
I have been looking at the E-Flite Blade SR really hard. I hear you about getting bored with the 4ch heli. That's where I am at now with 3ch. I hate to fly in my house. Just not enough room. My local shop can't get E-Flite. What website is the best to order from? One that is dependable.

Need some advice!
I have been researching all week on trying to find the best 4 channel Heli that I can fly outside. There is soooo much info out there. I am sort of new to flying. I have a simple 3 channel that is getting boring. I am sure I don't want to get involed in the 6 channel stuff yet. (later) I am willing to spend between $200 and $300. I am not bias when it comes to the brands. I just want something that is good outside and is durable. I like the single blade Helis also. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have been looking at the Walkera CB180d but still not sure that is the best choice. Please help!!! Mark
