RE: What's the
Sit in a chair, close your eyes with the transmitter in your lap and visualize the roll and inputs as you move down the line. Start with super slow motion visualization, and as you get more comfortable speed up the process. By doing this in a quit enviroment (I did this years ago in my recliner at home) you will learn the inputs without worring about your plane. Other manuvers can be learned and profected the same way.

RE: giant scale f8f bearcat Thread
Interesting project Two questions: 1 Where do you get this package? 2 Do you think the landing gear is going to stay in the wing with only the gear plate glued to the foam without any other support to distribute the load?

RE: Proposed FAA rules
If you are going to quote something please try and keep it in context, and not use selective parts of the information. First: This process is going to take about two more years to complete, and public coments will likely not start before early 2010. Second: For "Hobbiest" operating under / with the supervision of an organization (AMA), those rules will apply. The hobby isn't likely to change much at all. Turbines will be around. Third: For model aircraft used on a commerical basis there will be increased regulation - FAA. That segment of Model aviation will have something to worry about.

I have been told by crediable sources that USMJ is selling engines to the military for the same price or nearly the same price as they do to or did to the R/C jet hobby. If that is true with all the support involved, how bad a business deal is that??? No wonder they can't support their R/C jet hobby products, as well as other comitments.

Doesn't sound like AMT USA / US Microjet will be around much longer. The boys from AMT Netherlands are doing a great job!!!! Honest, easy to deal with, they do what they say and have a great product with many happy customers.

If it went to the new owners in Cincy it's probably been sold to raise money. I would guess that they, and their parent company are about out of business by now.
