RE: Power questions
Jim, thanks for the reply. On an earlier PT Profile I had a Hong Kong brushless. I don't remember the details of the motor. I do know it was a lighter motor than the EFlite 15 and that it really yanked that profile around and seemed to have gobs of power. The EFlite .15 seems heavy and sluggish to me. Maybe I need a bigger battery, I only had a 1300mAh 3S lipo on there. I don't know what I will take to Muncie, my car is pretty small, but I will be there one or two of the days. Chuck

Power questions
I have a PT Profile which was originally fitted with a MDS.18 engine. It flew, but it seemed to lack enough power to fly well or gain altitude. The recommended engine for this gyro is a .15. I switched it over to electric, put on a EFlite 15. Again, it flew, but it was not impressive. Also, recently purchased a completed PT.09. It has a AP.09. With a 7x4 prop I was unable to make this little gyro fly. It just does not seem to have enough "oomph". Anyone out there know if my problem is engine (motor) or set-up? I am looking for any suggestions anyone can offer and while I am at it, recommendations for best prop sizes for both these gyros would be appreciated. Hope to see many of you at Muncie next month! RE: 2009 Summer Gyro meet
Thank you Jim. I was not being picky, just wondered and I guess I had not read (or remembered that I read) earlier posts that related. I appreciate you clearing it up for me. I am looking forward to the event. Chuck ...somewhere in Indiana...

RE: 2009 Summer Gyro meet
rcflyer...just curious, why would Muncie want us all on 2.4 ghz to fly on a weekend? Last I heard, 2.4 does not interfere with other frequencies and inversley, other frequencies do not interfere with 2.4. As long as the gyro event was keeping their business straight with frequency pins and it would not bother the rest of the Muncie area, why do they care? Will somebody post here AND on RC Groups when a date and place are settled on? Thanks, looking forward to it wherever and whenever. Chuck ...somewhere in Indiana...

RE: PT-25 Help
Roger, look up Rick Anderson. He lives in Seymour and is one of the most knowledgeable guys around with regard to RC autogyros. No, I don't have a phone number. address or email for him. He DOES live in Seymour somewhere. CHUCK

TJ Flyer, saw your post about the Flying Balsa head on a gyrostick. Any photos you can post of this contraption? I am beginning to get ideas... Chuck ...somewhere in Indiana...

RE: Morris Autogyro Fly-in
Thanks to everyone who put up with me at the Fly-In. I learned a lot by listening and watching. My gyro did not fly but still had a great time and no serious damage was done. I will do a couple of small repairs and give it another go somewhere, sometime soon.
