RE: Top Flite Wire Wheel Repair (tire off rim)
I use zip ties, at 6,9 and 3 o clock, then stretch it over at the 12 o clock position with a flat head screw driver. It's easier if the rim is off the axel, hope that helps. Bob

I drill the firewall and install blind nuts prior to fuel proofing. Put a small piece of tape over the threads to keep epoxy out. I brush the whole tank area and firewall. Bob

Motor works great, too much power but thats why the left stick goes up and down lol. The prop is a Top Flight 10x6 .I Used a 35 amp ESC and a 4 cell lipo. The motor was from a 40 size trainer, don't know the specks as it came in an arf. I passed the airframe of the arf to young girl who wanted to learn. She is learning on it with an instructor on Thursday nights. Here's a couple more pics, Bob

Mine has a small gap too. it's over a year old and has many flights. FWIW I glued some hardwood to the bottom of the wing tab that goes onto the former. some have had that tab fail in flight and loose the wing. Bob

RE: Rudder Pull/Pull Wire Exit
ORIGINAL: daveopam Not trying to educate any of the posters in this thread, but others read these and do not post. Something that was not mentioned, I would worry about using any sort of metal exit for a pull/pull setup. This could be a potential source of RF noise and cause radio problems. IMHO Using the plastic tubes as mentioned above would eliminate this potential issue. david[:)]
+1 Bob
