RE: Tornado S30 questions
My dealer never see that about engine. it was the bearings inside the case broken. Nope, the engine under warranty, absolute free for change. Now my engine it's ok but, sometime the rotary carb jam because of the spring is not working well. I'll changed by another soon will I receive that I attach to the tower.

RE: Tornado S30 questions
Hi, I have a Tornado and i think is't not a better choice. I have to change many parts under warranty but i have no problem with that now. Redcat offer very good warranty 90 days replacement. But, i run on flat road but i had change engine, two servos (now Hi-Tec), many dogbones (because you need setting space of your hub) receiver (burn, i don't know why) and many wheels tires. Clutch, gears are ok for now. I will suggest heavy front and rear shock tower if you replace. it's very important to check all screws. Good luck!

RE: tornado s30 steering servo
Checked the glow plug or otherwise, perhaps you have too much prime. SH18 engine starts easily, better than my .28 Ofna.

Better parts for Tornado S30
Hi, Someone have any experience about parts HPI for Tornado S30 ? I found HD driving remplacement HPI86276 and HPI86277 (HPI72107 & HPI72108 regular) and dog bones HPI86886 6x86mm. The shaft is the same size standard 5mm. So, the large spur gear adapter (A882) can also fit and other parts http://www.hpiracing.com/kitparts/10053/ thanks

RE: tornado s30 steering servo
I use 6V 1400Mha battery pack and it's better for servos than 4.8v.

RE: tornado s30 steering servo
I change all servos on Tornado today because two originals servos down. I chose Hi-TEC HS-645MG Ultra Torque is a very fast and hi torque with metal gear. Better than original !

RE: Redcat Tornado S30 Help
It's look like too rich or fatten. Come back with HSN 2 1/2 from bottom and LSN flush. Don't prime, Tornado don't need anymore, just when you drain all fuel. Check around if you rotary carb don't jam sometime or block with pullstart, check allways before run. Maybe it's time to clean your carburator in this case. Good luck!

RE: tornado s30 steering servo
Hi, I change my receiver and radio temporarily with another brand. This is often the way the radio is set up which gives the speed or not to your servo (Some programs on radio). With another brand, steering is very quick and even too (same servo). Everything depends on your radio equipment and setting.

RE: New rim for Tornado S30
Enfin on verra bien. Bye.

RE: Problem with PVA application
Hi, Thanks for a lot informations. I will use wax alone for next. When i purchased WAX (TR-104) the store had only this product. Use only WAX is faster, we save an other step. I'll use TR-102 and TR-301 for my next order. Earlier, before your reply, i was start again with 2 mist layers and PVA still ok. Now i wait for cure Gelcoat.
