RE: Brushless Monsoon
NICE!! I've been contemplating if I wanted to try a brushless monsoon, but i was trying to find a motor mount that would work. Never thought of using the 8e parts with a little modification. Looks like I have some ordering to do!

RE: secound hand nitro problems
I was going to suggest the heat cycle method also. When in doubt, lean it out so you can reach your 200 degree mark. If you have a stand or some 2X4's handy, why not idle a couple tanks through since it sounds like you're still in the early, early stages.

RE: RE:
I'm waiting on my Backdraft 8e. It's officially indoor season here in Michigan and I'm a big redcat fan. The track is big enough to run 1/8 buggy and truggy. I can't wait to get the vehicle and dial it in. I've searched RCU/redcat for anyone with a race report on this beast, I guess I'll be the first. I understand some ppl see these as bashers only but any vehicle can be raced with a little tweaking. I love racing my Monsoon and with a little work done to the braking and tuning for the track it was more than game. Once I get the backdraft in my hands I'll know what it needs to keep up with the vets My first thought though is to switch out the shock towers for aluminum to eliminate flex, work on the diffs and toe. Our next race at "the barn" at washtenaw fairgrounds is Dec 5. I'll try to get some pics and results up assuming I get to run. DAG

RE: Amazing Deal! Eurgle 2.4GHz Tx/Rx (KO Propo Clone) Only $44!
I have this radio and I love my eurgle!!! I have 6 receivers and they're in 3 of my racing vehicles (e-buggy, hyper buggy, & E-truggy) as well as my fun cars (e-muggy, crt.5, and backslash). Great response times, feels light in your hands and tons of adjustability including the wheel. The problem a previous poster was having with his servos is easily fixed in the steering arc sub-menu. Basically your servo gets to it's full throw in whatever direction you're having that problem in and since your end point is auto-max it's set too high for the arc & throws the servo back the other way. You dont want your servo straining point to point, so turn it on, go into the arc menu and adjust the numbers accordingly as you turn the wheel.
