RE: Bdavison's E-flite Blade Assembly
Sorry, I don’t know about the bell mixer. I don’t actually have them installed on my heli. Also off topic, The T-REX 450 is awesome from what I can tell. I have only seen how it can be flown; you can see some amazing stunts here: http://www.rcuniverse.com/magazine/article_display.cfm?article_id=600 the videos are simply amazing! and as far as the internet support for these things goes... well its great. the BCP seems to have no one interested in sharing their little flight secrets (with this forum as the exception) but the T-REX has many sites with lots of information. one being: http://www.trextuning.com/ and a good review at: http://www.rcuniverse.com/magazine/article_display.cfm?article_id=572 sorry if its a bit off topic but yea.. its awesome. I am seriously considering this as my next heli. I want to build it, and I want to fly it! also brushless is just DAMN cool! -d

RE: Bdavison's E-flite Blade Assembly
I have had no trouble hovering with and without the BCP body, however you can’t really avoid the tendency for the heli to slide left. It will never rise perfectly vertically, but you can get damn close! : ) Try lifting off while holding the cyclical stick slightly to the right, it will seem to tip right but as you get into the air it will all balance out and you are back at center stick hovering! KEEP PRACTICING and GOOD LUCK!

RE: Bdavison's E-flite Blade Assembly
Quick question on head assembly! Bdavidson, your explanation on the head assembly was great. I’m just not sure how much to tighten the cap screws to keep the blade grips together, having the orings in the mix makes me think I can make em pretty tight because of the squish factor, but I might be wrong? Any ideas?

RE: Bdavison's E-flite Blade Assembly
Hi all, I am new to this thread, and need to vent my frustration on the remote control glitch. I have experienced the problem three or four times each of varying degree. Usually when my blade cp is completely operational after spooling down with throttle down as well as trim all the way down the bird sits steady with no problems, however a couple of times it just unexpectedly pops into full throttle and jumps into a wall! I cant take it! One set of blades were completely ruined and I am afraid of even turning this thing on indoors. I have also notice a strange thing. When the cp is susceptible to the random glitch from hell it’s often related to cell phones being near by. Even stranger than the cell phone interference is that a couple of times I had the heli sitting ready to fly, and when I tip the TX forward so the antenna is parallel to the ground the thing goes nuts, but when I return it vertically it behaves. I did this a couple of times and was shocked to see that the heli would hop each time I would lower my TX. WHAT IS GOING ON! Anyone know? I am running the RTF blade with all stock parts on channel 17 which is 72.130 mhz! What frequencies are you guys running, and should I change my crystals to avoid this? HELPPPP Also thanks a bunch to bdavidson too! : )
