Moo just watched the vid- BRILLIANT, just an idea, on the real tracks there is a forging " tab" in the triangle section possibly extend it to provide strengthening?

Hi moo just a quick point the Scimitar is a dinosaur when it comes to fire control systems. There is no gun stabilization, no power traverse, it was only a few years ago that a laser range finder and TI was fitted, just hand traverse and elevation, and a graticule pattern in the sight, (WW2 tankers would recognize it!!), so you could save yourseif the stab module on the model[:D]

perhaps filling in the hollow parts of the track will help but keep them correct. They sometimes bent or broke in extreme conditions on the real thing

Cheap muzzle flash LED question
On the old RX14 board you could wire an led direct to the mother board so it would light when you pushed the bbL FIRE LEVER. Anyone know which connections I need to use on the RX18 board[8|]

Great on roads so much x country, torsion bar suspension bit rough. [&o] got a few photos etc if you have any questions that come up, or dont mind observations as you build will be happy to pass it on. Tell you what was fun. During the big NATO exercises in Germany. nipping through villsges playing tag with MBTs- never got caught-[:D] happy days

Fitted the micro switch and ran it to CN3. IT WORKS! Now all set up, just waiting for the lower half to return, (Stug gearboxes being fitted) then get it together[:D][:D][:D]

Well after alot of tests no joy[:@][&o]. First found that there is a "type of" switch on the gun, whatever i tried could'nt get it to work, to tapped into the LED wires- the red was total naff so i managed to get it out and replace it with a white one. Using the CN3-LED stays on, requires a switch of some description.[:o] Tried running wires to the motor, because the motor runs so long more of a torch, than a flash. No reply from Bill[&o] looks like i will have to fit my own switch then run to the CN3, will post the results
