exhaust manifold bolts
On a vertex .18 the exhaust manifold bolts are M3*28 Cap screws, correct? Also do the screws, screw in from the engine first into the manifold, or manifold first then into the engine. I lost both of the screws today, and cannot remember how they went.[:@]

i am looking at new .18 nitro engines. all the O.S. engines have power ratings that are in PS. What is PS, and how does it relate to horsepower?

RE: WHAT PIPES HAVE YOU GOT ON VOLCANO
i have the pipe ehroof posted. have not been able to run the truck with it yet though. just a note you will have to jerry rig it to hold in place. i cut the little rod that held the old exhaust, fliped it 180 and used a zip tie to tie it to one of the upper plate mounts. also u will have to drill a hole somewhere in the exhaust to mount the pressure nipple.

RE: Redcats
DONT SHOP AT P&D!!! they are just a bunch of overpriced A$$hole$!!!. one of the sales men got into a arguing match with me because i would not spend almost double for a futaba servo. there is also a nother hobby shop i think it is named the prop shop a 9 1/2 and van dyke. so far they seem pretty nice. i would rather support a hobby shop than shop online, but i am not going to pay the high price most hobby shops want. i also agree larrys performance rc is a good place to shop so far. cheap prices on odonnel fuel too

RE: is this right????????????
i finally figured out how to get out the axle. i cleaned the bearings and races and they spin freely now. i hope that it works but i will have to wait until tomorow, about 2inches of snow and its almost dark. is this something that normally happens? i was running on a wet baseball diamond and i think some of the dirt got into the bearings

RE: is this right????????????
i took out the rear drive shaft on the passenger side and spun the axle and it spun with some resistance. i did the same thing on the drivers side and it spun just fine. is the bearing going bad??? if so how do i get the axle out? i took the two set screws out of the rim nut but the axle would not come out.

is this right????????????
both of my drivers side wheels spin fine. the passenger wheels will spin but has a lot more resistance. when i spin either of the drivers side tires the other tire on that side spins but neither of the other side tires spins. if i spin either of the tires on the passenger side the tire on the other side spins opposite and the one on the same side will not spin. is this suposed to happen???????[:@][:@][:@][:@][:@]

slipper nut
i have a volcano sv and i just replaced the spur gear. when i put everything back together i left the slipper nut to loose. Now after taking everything back apart i want to know how tight to make it. i have it right now where i put a wrench on the slipper nut and turned the aluminum gear until i could no longer turn it. is this too tight. if it is can anyone give me a suggestion on how much to loosen it. IE a 1/2 turn. I REALLY want to run my truck, i have not been able to run since 12-29![:(][:@]
