RE: What's easiest to fly , CP , TREX, MX400?
ORIGINAL: AJsToyz One of my magazines just did a review on Micro Heli's. All three will do 3D but the Blade is the easiest to Hover , Thats what they said anyways ! [;)]
Makes me wonder if they even flew the helis.[8|]

RE: MX 400 Head Assembly?
Not completely sure but I beleive you have to use some sort of spacer. I think the x400 blade root is thicker than trex.

RE: A few quick MX400 Pro set-up Questions...
One thing you will want to do is forget the 1250mah battery that was recommended and get one around 2100mah. The recommended electronics placement is the dumbest thing I've seen. Stacking all that on top of each other is asking for glitches. I left my gyro between the side frames, but ziptied the esc to the left front side to get it away from gyro and receiver. My reason for not mounting gyro on top rear of frame is the pictures I've seen on other forums where the gyro was cut in half by the flybar if heli set down hard.

RE: Need some recommendations
ORIGINAL: ronaldf The trim is constantly changing with battery discharge. Just minor adjustments to tail position causes head speed to change which in turn causes the tail to drift. It is frustrating! It could not be my fault, so it must be the heli and electronics!!!!
As the battery voltage drops, the tail will require a little trim. This is normal.Welcome to the wonderful world of tail motors.[:D]

RE: hmm
After my x400's first crash today, I'm going to say it did more damage than the blade cp ever did. The crash was due to being overcome with dumba#* as both of my expensive crashes have been. Alot of peices are cheaper as whtbronco stated. I still say I would skip blade cp.

RE: hmm
If I had it to do over, I would skip the blade and go straight for the x400/mx400. I don't think minor crashes will cost much if any more to repair than the blade cp.

RE: Blade CP Carbon Fiber Blade Problem!?
Use this procedure with your pitch gauge. http://www.bladecprepair.com/man_mr_setup_and_adjustment.html#zero Set your pitch gauge to zero. Hold flybar level and adjust until gauge lines up with flybar.

RE: HB CP2 bigger motor?
I would recommend you learn to fly before you start installing more powerful motors. The hb cp2 has enough power for a beginner. The tail motor will give more trouble than the main. There are a couple of options for the tail. (ie. twin motors, direct drive)

Helihobby or Helidirect. If your LHS has any blade cp parts, most of those will work.

The eccpm conversion is not required. It does however solve a couple of x400 problems.

RE: What would be a good upgrade for the stock honeybee CP2 tail motor?
You can read the pros and cons for all those on these forums. Any mod for blade cp will work for hb cp2. My suggestion would be the DD.

RE: CP2 vs BCP cost effectiveness guide
Owning both, I would agree that the hb cp2 is the better choice. But not ALL parts are interchangeable. Also the eflite tx does have a charge jack.
