RE: KMP OV-10 Bronco
guys, i too have just picked up a second hand ESM Bronco and while going over it I have found that the triangluar piece thats goes from the main booms to the vertical rudder are not there. so I have two questions in regards to them not being there 1- do you think the plane needs those triangular pieces and 2- does any one have any they would like to sell. thanks uane

RE: Seagull Super Tucano
guys,I to have just started this model and have started to fit the DLE20 into it.I have used the JTec muffler and it fits without the side of the cowl needing cutting.i have also cut out some holes where the exhaust ducts are on the cowl.i found a tank that will fit the orgianl setup but will accept the gas bung.I believe its made by hy models, sold here is Oz by ace models.I'm currently looking for retract options as i dont like the setup of the mechanical retractss.I asked Down and Locked for a price to convert but the retracts aren't worth that much so I am doing the big www search to see what else is out there.

RE: Best for a Fuji 32
I have a fuji 32 in a hanger 9 p51 160 size and a mate has a fuji 32 in the hanger 9 p47 160 size and also in the world models spitfire gs.these engines fly these planes very well.Im currently putting a fuji 34(the fuji 32replacement) into world models zero gs. we find that the fuji work well in warbirds, mainly due to the weight and the rear exhaust.we do find the fuji's every reliable and easy to use.I had my first fuji 32 in CMPro extra 72" it fly it but it wasnt great.(required sopme power on landing due to how heavy the plane ended up).hence why it ended up in the warbirds. I have spare Fuji 32 and it will be going into the ESM pc21 that i currenlty have sitting in my shed.Fuji's are my preferred engine for warbirds but when i built my extras and Sbach the DLE went in to those, less weight more power. If you wont put a engine into a piloit rc plane i would stick to the DLE or one of the better performance engines

RE: What Aircraft are you installing your DLE20
sorry here is the link,http://superandcheaper.com.au/view_product.asp?id=930 the plane orginally had an os91.So far i have just ran the engine for 4 x 5 miuntes runs on the ground with a 14 x 10 prop and it has heaps of pull.the engine is struggling with high idle though it keeps stopping I will adjust the high needle this weekend and try again. To get the plane to balance I had to put both the flight and ign packs up under the fuel tank so there is not alot of differcne from when I had the os 91 in it.I have tried to post pictures but i keep getting and internet exploxer error so I will see if i can add later

RE: *ASM Cessna 182 (10ft) 30-50cc*
Tim, I have a RCGF 26cc in a edge 540 and it runs great. two other club members have the 50cc twin in piper pawnees and they love them. The local supplier(yd models) has great back up and support but I beleive the USA dealer also has a good rep. There are several threads in the engine section on these engines.I have run the engine in the plane but only on the ground.it has plenty of pull and it starts and runs great.I am working on the wing mounting at the moment as I dont like the idea of running screws into wing tubes to hold the wings on,so im unsure of when I will get this bird in the air to give a report on the actual engine in the plane. But all reports are that they are good.I ahve attched two pictures of the cowl sitting overe the engine(excuse the roughness) but I hope it shows you how little of the cowl I actauly had to remove.I hope this helps

RE: *ASM Cessna 182 (10ft) 30-50cc*
I also have put a twin in mine it is the RCGF 50cc twin and I only needed to cut the cowl where the lights would go on the cowl itself and only for the mufflers but not on the sides of the cowl .I also had to add 1.5kg in wieght to make it balance at the recommended point.I only have photos of the engine installed but not with the cowl on.If I can workout how to post picuters I will put them on

RE: New .90 gas engine (15cc)
guys, I just received this engine.Saw it in the shop and the price made it worth the gamble.Im mounting it in a seagull edge 540.I had a magnum 91 four stroke in it.it wont live in this plane im just putting it in as the plane is an old girl and the pain will be less if i damge this girl than any of my others I do have one question.does anyone think that it might be possible to turn the carb 180 degrees.the reason i ask is that the throttle and choke arms are on the same side as the muffler which makes connecting control rods to them rather hard especially the choke if this engine turns out to be a winner Im thinking about buying another and running them in my VQ p-61 any comments or suggestions would be appreciated Duane

RE: YT KMP Hawker Typhoon
hi guys thanks to this forum I have purchased this model,it took two months to get here but it was as everyone said well worth it.I had a little problem with no hinge blocks in the kit,it seems that afew other guys had the same issue.but serval calls to my local supplier went unasnswered. But thanks to Paul from KMP in Canada he has answered all my questions and offered to send me the new rods to install the hinges with( great servcie as i didnt even but the kit from them). All i can say is you guys over in Canada and the states are lucky to have a dealer who looks after you becasue we dont get it in Oz.So a quick thankyou to Paul for all his efforts.I intend to put the Fuji 32 in this bird.i see that someone has put a 26 in it but had to cut the cowl for the exhaust.the Fuji 32 is rear exhaust so hopefully all ill need to do is cut the fire wall to take the rear exhaust.Im alittle worried about the weight but I know that most warbirds require a lot of weight in the nose. This is my first large warbird and first gas engine so any comments or suggestion would be appreciated.
