RE: *** Ultra Sport Brotherhood ***
In terms of engine, and trying to save money, I'd put my money down for an ASP 90 Fourstroke from these guys[link=http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=8984]hobbycity.com[/link] Good reliable motor, uses less fuel than a two stroke, enormous torque ( turns a bigger prop ) and easy to start. Hope that motor isn't too expensive, otherwise the 108 twostroke is also a great motor d

RE: *** Ultra Sport Brotherhood ***
I've just ordeed a GP RV-4 kitset as my next build, but i'm looking at future options. Has anyone flown a SuperSportster 60 and compared it to a US 60? I know the SS60 is a great flying, sturdy, durable plane, suitable for na every weekend flyer, but don't know the US60? any opinions? BTW my current every sunday plane is a 60 size Extra 330, with an OS90FS up front. a brillant, aerobatic, plane. love it for the basic IMAC schedule!

RE: Skybolt hangar and clubhouse
On reflection, I might go down the saito 115 or 125 path. I just need to find them at a good price! What the gas motor has got going for it is the low initial cost, tremendous power and reliability, and a really low running cost. Against a gas motor primarily is the very hefty weight! I want to get this Super Skybolt kit, i just need to get a cheapish motor. What about the ASP 120 fs?

RE: Skybolt hangar and clubhouse
A clubmate has offered to sell me his super skybolt kitset. Thinking about what i could power it with, and trying to keep running costs down (large glow motors need lots of fuel...) I'm considering putting a gas 26cc motor in it. [link=http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=5787]26cc gas motor[/link] Would this motor be?? Too heavy? About 1200gm inc ignition and muffler Over or Under Powered? 2HP Need too big a prop @16"? Working out the motor side of this will be the deciding factor in whether or not i buy this kit Thanks for the help all1

RE: Hyperion EOS0615i Duo 3
Hyperion make about 5 different adapter boards, find out what type of balance connector is on your batteries, and buy the appropriate boars for about $10us. Check here for what batteries use what connectors [link=http://aircraft-world.com/shopexd.asp?id=5950]Adaptor Boards[/link]

RE: Spad Supplies in NZ?
Hi Geoff, I BOUGHT a sheet of yellow coreboard from Bunnings Palmerston North today, Saturday 2nd may. I was there about 1:oo, and if you saw someone walking round with a big yellow sheet of coreboard, with my wife in her wheelchair in tow, that would of been me. Which field/ club do you fly from, I fly in Levin, an AT40 trainer, with TT46pro is my only flying plane, I have an Super Sportster 60 on the building board ( for a Saito 72), and will be building either a spadstick or a corowat 40 out of the yellow coreboard. I'll power the spadstick with a TT42GP. David

RE: Cor-Star 60 Version 2.0 plans and pics
Hey Draftman, I love the look of your CoroKaos, are there any plans available? I'd love to make one, probably a little advanced for me as of right now, but at least with Coro, they are real durable, so you can build an advanced model, crash it, realise it's too much, and leave it to fly another day.

RE: Spad Supplies in NZ?
Cheers Sweedude planes, I've found a manufacturer who might be able to help. Hopefully in the near future i'll try my hand at a Spad Stick, as a low cost 2nd airplane to follow my 4ch low dihedral (1 deg) trainer. David

Spad Supplies in NZ?
I'm after a source of Corroflute/ Corplast or the like in New Zealand? Anybody out there who can point me in the right direction? Any suggestions as to types of companies i might try. One local signwriter can supply 3.3mm and 4.6mm thickness but not 2m
