RE: I got XXL fever
ORIGINAL: JUCD VPR Awesome collection! I just finished my Brushless Conversion on my XXL. Great trucks to own! What BL Combo did you go with? The LST/LST2 are the size of the standard Savage. The Savage XL is similar to the Losi XXL in size.
Both trucks have the Mamba Monster ESC and Castle 1518 1800KV motor. My son runs a 4s battery and I use a 6s battery. I used the battery tray underneath to house the 500mah 4s battery to run the LEDs.

e-revo motor & esc options?
I now have my e-revo roller upgraded the way I wanted but I am not certain which motor & esc combo I want. Is the CC Mamba Monster the best combo for the e-revo? Also, can anyone suggest a reliable lipo battery charger? Thanks in advance.

E-Revo roller need suggestions on upgrades
First off thanks to the guys that gave me the suggestions on the servo upgrade. I have listed below the current parts/upgrades I have purchased for the E-Revo roller I bought. Is there anything I missed or should not use. I want to set this thing up for bashing no racing. Thanks in advance.
ORIGINAL: deviltrigger529 If you're gonna spend about 100 bucks on 2 of those you might as well spend a little more and go for a single Futaba S9157 like I mentioned. List is 120 but with towers coupons it would be a little less.
I can get 2 for$50.00

RE: 23mm 40 series Wabash wheels?
ORIGINAL: Racing T actually the pro-line wabash wheels have less off-set that the stock lst2 ones, they are desingned for the revo so they use less off set and your turning radius will reduce.
O.K. HELP!!! Problems with my Radio
First let me say thanks in advance to anyone that can help me solve this problem. I haven't had a chance to drive my LST in a few months due to coaching my sons Football team and his am my daughters track team. Close to the end of track season my brother's wife bought him a Revo 3.3 for his B-day. He challenged me to a race. Well that was cool with me, I had just had a new LRP .28 Spec III put in the LST about 3wks before. Everything was fine during break-in so after break-in I put the battery packs on charge and left them (they were left on charge for almost a month). (Here's the Problem) Thursday I some free time so I wanted to bash. I unplugged the packs and took the truck outside for some fun. I turned on the Radio and the throttle servo started twitching and when I tried turning the wheels nothing happened. I checked the voltages with my multimeter and the transmitter read 10.8volts and the receiver read 4.4volts. Can anyone tell me what the problem is? Please tell me I don't need to buy another Radio for my LST. Sorry for the long post.

They look nice but I wonder how durable the arms are. Can they take a beating? I would be willing to give them a try if they made them for the LST.

RE: New ARMS For LST: Ti & CF!!
ORIGINAL: Deandome I MIGHT be wrong 'bout the pic of the Vantage arms, in which case I'd be wrong about Vantage MAKING LST arms, in which case I'd be wrong about any of this being "new news" [:)] I'll check tonite. And you made 2 posts in this thread so far, LST-man, both of which were negative sneers. I can't be faulted for sniping back..normally I'm a pretty easygoing 44 y.o. ad salesman making 6 figures. I WAS yelling at you a bit for deriding a firm who (I thought/think) was trying to offer something unique for your truck. If you've seen the Vantage arms, you'd see that they're not useless/weak, they're uniquely designed around the properties that CF affords to be strong, not just a regular arm design done in a different material. IF they actually exist, unless they're substantially less $$ than the FlexTek arms, I'd say the FlexTeks are better. But for racers, CF is king...get the CF chassis I read about here, those arms, ti screws & some Ti Hardcore parts & you'd have the lightest LST possible. Vantage's Revo Chassis was raved about in RCCA's recent "racing Revo" article, and their pipes are great. They're not just stamping stuff outta CF plate (like so many other "manufacturers" ), they're engineering & manufacturing sophisticated 3-D parts. They should be applauded for their efforts, not scoffed at. Spending tons of money on a LST?? I thought it was so great outta the box that a gear cover & some new diff cases would give you the kind of bulletproof truck that Maxx owners spend $2K to achieve. I guess I'm wrong. Dean
Yes, Maxx owners would have to spend much cash to get the quality of an stock LST. Most people that can afford LSTs want more, not becasue the LST is inferior but just because most LST owners CAN afford it. Maybe a bigger engine w/ matching tuned pipe, Flextek arms, RPM arms, CF chasis, or larger wheels & tires. These are some of the things no RTR MT comes with. Not to mention we don't have to waste money on a better radio system. But the LST is still by far the best stock MT out and will crush your Maxx.

Check out my new wheel/tire combo
First I would like to say how great the service is at Killer Hobbies. I ordered these on Friday and got them on Monday! Thanks Mike. I thought I would post some pics of my new Pro-Line 23mm 40 series Commando weld bead-lock wheels wrap with Panther Pythons. I haven't had a chance to test them out but I like the look and there is very little sidewall to flex while driving. I will also have to weigh them later. So tell me what you think. Which Truck
Alright guys I need a little help. I have 2 TT EK-4s and I want to use on of the .70 engines in another truck. I have talked to a guys that have had great success with putting the engine in the Titan Deluxe. I wanted to know if anyone has tried putting the engine in a Mammoth. I like the size of the Mammoth and would like a little advice. Which truck has the best aftermarket upgrade support and which one is more durable. I will use some aluminum parts since it will be a basher not a racer, probably just shock towers and bulk heads. Anyway thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
