RE: best quality tools to work on vehicles?
So far, I have not encountered any issues with this set. Nothing wearing or stripping. In fact, my wife trusted this set with her Synergy N5 nitro rc helicopter.

RE: best quality tools to work on vehicles?
These all look like good sets, but a bit pricey. I looked through my tower hobbie catalog to get some prices and I seen a set for 159.00 from Duratrax. Personally, I like the Dynamite set. My wife and use them on our rc's. Me my cars, her her copters. We have used the sets from home depot, lowes etc, and they all strip or do not fit properly.

From my experience, shipping was good. On April 17, 2012, wife my wife ordered me a Rally Monster for my birthday. It arrived via UPS on April 23rd. Pretty darn good.

Thanks for the quick replay. I wanted another sc truck and I want to keep it as a sc truck. Are there any other companies that make a 1:12 sct body?

Body question
For my birthday, my wife got me the Rally MOnster from Exceed RC. After doing much research on it, I found that itsa rebranded Vortex sct. What body would be compatible with it? I looked and all the stock bodies are well, out of stock.

Hmmm, have you tried adjusting the trims on the transmitters. I had an issue where I had to reverse the settings on my spektrum radio.

RE: noob having problem with backdraft 8e
It sounds like you may need to rebind it. Or the receiever is bad. But, I would try rebinding it with the bind plug. Refer to the manual. Its not that diffucult. If anyone esle here has any ideas, please chime in.

Backdraft 8e shocks Update
A little late, but... My shocks arrived today. After finding myself aggravated that the shocks I purchased would not "fit" correctly, I went ahead and ordered the stock shocks for this buggy. I installed them in as little as 15 minutes and took it out for a run. Actually, the jumps were wickedly sweet.

RE: Just Bought a Himoto Mega E need to know..
I have been thinking of getting a tacon motor to use with the sidewinder esc instead of the sidewinder motor which is 6900kv. I suppose I could use a tacon with the cc esc.

RE: Just Bought a Himoto Mega E need to know..
Thank you both for your comments. I have a brand new sidewinder motor for it, 6900kv. I am thinking it may be too much and have condsidered getting a tacon motor and use it with the sidewinder esc. I also have a brushed motor that was stock in my blitz which is a 15t firebolt motor/esc. I have planety of servos. ps I buy batteries and stuff from hobbypartz.

Just Bought a Himoto Mega E need to know..
I just picked this up this roller from ebay for well under a 100.00. Its the Homoto Mega E 1:10 scale 4wd buggy. All it needs is a servo, motor/esc and pinion gear. I wonder how it will do with a castle motor in it or would a firebolt 15t motor/esc (brushed)? Any and all suggestions welcomed. pics:

lol ok, still it looks amazing. I've ordered a backdraft body before and all i needed to do was cut/trim it. Then I painted my own later.

RE: redcat may be a mistake
I agree that this is quite hard to believe. When I first got my redcat (earthquake 8e), my wife and I went to a soccer field, I then punched it full throttle, hit a parking meter that was in the a nearby parking lot, my truck went 10-15 ft in the air, landed on its back. I rushed to it and took the body off to see what damage I did and all i did was crack the upper center differential which was eaily replaced for cheap and harldy any effort to replace.

RE: ***OFFICIAL MEGA E XB10 THREAD***
I just bought a roller kit of this buggy. All I need is servo, motor, and esc. I have two motor/esc combos I can out in it. I have the Firebolt 15T motor and esc (was stock in my hpi blitz which is now brushless) and a castle combo. which would be the best choice?
