RE: Tower pro mg90s good for 450 flybarless?
For the copterX CX-3X1000 gyro, connect the cyclic servo to ch 1 , 2, and 3. Rudder servo to ch4. For the receiver to gyro connection please refer to the manual. The esc connect directly to receiver ch3. For your 500 the 2 front servo should be ch1 and 6, and the rear servo should be ch2. it does not matter which "front" servo is ch 1 or 6. as long as the setup is correct and everything move in right direction. :)

RE: fg f1 hydros ?
I believe FG recommand atleast 25kg servo. For brake fluid do not use real car dot 3 or 4 fluid. These system use hydrolic fluild. You can get it from any shop which sell giant scale rc car. :)

RE: Binding Walkera V100D08 to Devo 7
you do not need to bind the devo 7 to your v100d08, simply turn off the "fix id" function in your transmitter. And power up as normal (with throttle stick at lowest position, and do not turn anything until the led on the heli stop flashing). :)

RE: CopterX GY240 gyro question
Hum... usually the 2 double side tape and metal plate is only necessary for larger heli with more vibration. And the hot glue (or foam) trick is only necessary for align 3G's..... Anyway, How I setup my gyro is turn it to normal mode at around 30% gain (for your spektrum it should be around -15% gain). Test fly the heli. Only do mechnical changes (adjust the rudder push rod) to correct the tail drift. After that's been done. Switch back to HH hold at around 30% gain, now adjust the gain to stop tail drifting, then adjust the delay to stop tail hunt.... Just my 2 cents. [;)]

RE: CopterX GY240 gyro question
For the copterX gy240 gyrois a futaba 401 clone. Please refer to the manual in the following link. http://www.ky-model.com/copterx/copterx_GY401.doc For normal hover we find it best to work at around 30% gain setting. So it will be around +15% on your spektrum. (the led will turn on at the gyro without any stick input). If you are in normal mode the led on the gyro will stay off.

RE: Walkera CB-180Z Swash Leveling & Blade Tracking
1: If the head damper, feathering shaft, etc, are in good shape. Just use the 2 push rod connect the blade grip's control arm to swash to adjust the tracking. And check the blade grip as the material is quite soft so offen it bend..... 2: just eye ball it should be good enough. 3: usually around 50% is a good starting pt. And will adjust it after test flight. :)

RE: Walkera V100D,s
ya, the v100's is not a bad flyer. It come in 3 different models. v100d01- 4ch flybarless, v100d03 - 6ch flybarless or the v100d08 6ch flybarless run the new Devo8 system. For the new v100d08 use the new soft plastic blades which is very durable. Even it is brushed setup for some reason (maybe lighter or different it the firmware inside the receiver), it seems to fly better than the older brushless system..... for battery the 03 and 08 use the new smaller 350mah 1S. The 01 use the older bigger 500-600mah 1S. :)

walkera 4F180
I wonder why there are not much people talk about this heli. I mean it fly great and it is one of the heli I fly almost daily now. As you can imagine with limited space in Hong Kong even with my love for the 450 and 500 it is really hard to find places large enough for them here..... But this little bird is great to fly in almost anywhere and I love to fly it at the park across the street from my office when my boss is not around. lol

RE: After-market radio for Walkera 53Q3 Co-axial heli?? Pls advise!!
I had seen people done it before but with the twin motors setup it is extermly hard and lot of custom work necessary.... You may consider getting the 2801pro tx as it is a good radio and can control most walkera and with 2801pro rx you can use it in other heli too. :)

Nine eagle 772B mini powered glider
Compare to the Yak54 this one is more of a glider design. And it is a 3ch so the mechanical setup is simpler. This one should be more stable at low speed. After it stop raining outside will go a do a quick flight report.

Nine eagle Yak54 mini flyer
Quite surprise how fast this thing fly. Very simple for quick flight between flights and the good thing is not need to setup anything. Just charge the battery and go. As I am a heli person I find the heli a little quick and need sometime to get use to. But it is fun so I can do something while charging my heli battery.

RE: 5 Blade rotor and 3 axis gyro?????
If you had flown any other 450 heli. The first thing you will notice is the copterX Black Angel is very responsive. As the frame design is narrow and stiff. And the head and tail assembly have very little if any slop. I think it is one of the nicest 450 heli on the market now. :)
