SSG you are a fine pilot! I have modified mine as to lightening it, but I cannot hold a candle to your flying skills. Congrats and great video! [8D]

RE: Best mini infoor heli
mCX is the easiest. If you want a SRB that is easy get a Hirobo Quark. These 2 heli's make it easy and fun. You will have more time flying and less time re-building! [8D]

RE: Hirobo SRB Quark
Leave the Quark stock. It is the most trouble free and best flying heli there is with a single rotor. The only thing easier to fly is the mCX and it will not tolerate any wind at all! The Quark rules!

RE: Innovator MD530
On both Innovators there are up-grade parts available and using the software you can customise every flying parameter there is. The Innovators are totally unique and great flyers. The EXP can go from mild to wild in minutes of easy programming!

RE: tt innovator problems resolved?
If you insist on leaving trim down it will stop the motor while you are flying. Push the throttle trim all the way forward to spool up the motor and let the governor do it's job. In a panic situation use the throttle hold switch. It will quickly kill the motor. All new(current) Innovators should have new boards. Ace puts in new boards when they get a problem Innovator. I had a MD530 and currently have an EXP that are flawless in operation. Learn to use the software if you want to maximise your Innovator. The Innovators are the best(easiest) flying "real" helicopters available along with the Hirobo Quark SRB bar none! I have 3 programs set-up for my EXP. One for newbies using foam blades, one for wood blades for intermediates, and one for carbon blades for 3-D which I am still trying to learn. The EXP is also the most versatile heli available. If you can't fly a heli buy a mCX until you can and then get a Quark. The Innovator is the best third heli there is! People who say the Quark and the Innovators are expensive have obviously never built a T-Rex 450 or a Mini Titan 325 both of which will croud the heck out of a thousand dollars properly outfitted. My 2 cents!

RE: Innovator MD530
Both the EXP and MD530 fly easier and more stable than any other CCPM helicopter on the market! The EXP in the right hands is an impressive 3D machine when properly set-up. Get the software. TT and ACE are making it right for all Innovator owners who need help! These are excellent heli's! [;)]

RE: Innovator MD530
Flew the second flight on my EXP in mode 1. Much more responsive and slightly higher head speed. This heli is a keeper. If you currently have problems hovering a CP heli get the MD 530. [;)]

RE: Innovator MD530
Maidened my new EXP this morning. Set-up was easy by following the 2 page guide. My e-Manual wouldn't work but I went to the Innovator web sight and read all the forum posts so everything went smooth including the flight. I haven't flown in several months but the Heli was smooth although the mode 0 controls are soft(spongy) which was actually good since I was quite rusty. A few clicks of trim had it hands off hovering. I think I will start flying heli's again![:D]

Thanks for the good info Spaz and thanks for starting this excellent post! I am waiting for my EXP. It has arrived but they haven't priced it out yet since it is their first one. I should be able to get it tomorrow. Is the set-up and start-up info in the videos also pertain to the EXP?

I am running an AXI 2217-16 with a Thunderbird 36 ESC and an APC 10x7 prop on a 1500 no name lipo. Use 1 washer of right thrust and you will be impressed with the speed and unlimited vertical!!!!! The plane rocks.

In no particular order: the Multiplex Acromaster, Airfoilz Edge, Copperhead Extra, Uzi XXL and Super Zoom regular and XXL will literally "Blow Away" the planes mentioned in the survey. 1 or 2 of those planes in the survey should have never seen the light of day!IMHO

RE: TRex 500 or TRex 600?
I have all 3 and would not give them up for anything. Sometimes I want small(450) and sometimes I want big(600) so now when I am undecided I split the difference and fly the 500. By the way, I fly the 500 on a new 3000 MaxAmps 6 cell which really brings it alive and steadies it more in wind since it is 2-3 ounces heavier than when I series 2 -2100 3 cells. It flys well either way but obviously 1-2 minutes longer on the 3000. I am using TP, MaxAmps and Falcons on the 2100 packs. If I had to choose only one it would be the 500 because its in the middle. But I don't have to choose so I have all three! Life is good! I for one do not want CHANGE........IMHO!
