SH .12 Engine?
What does everyone think of these engines? I have seen lots of recommendations for these. I am looking for a good .12 race legal engine at a reasonable price (nothing over $150 or so). Here is the one I am looking at PT12R01 SH .12 Pro Rear Exhaust Reg Shaft, Rotary Carb for $129.

RE: 1st nitro truck or buggy? Scale? 2wd or 4?
I will drive it on a off road track I will build, through grass, gravel, and in the forest with lots of pine needles. I think I definity want 4wd. I have seen races and the handling is so much better. I live in Santa Rosa in Northern CA.

1st nitro truck or buggy? Scale? 2wd or 4?
I am going to get back in R/C cars after having 2 electric ones years ago. I want a nitro truck or buggy. Money is not unlimited. I have been looking at the HPI RS4 MT2 rtr ($309), HPI MT2 18SS ($317 and then need radio), and AE RC10GT Plus RTR $299. I think I want 4wd due to the handling but I am concerned about the lack of speed. So is the 18SS the best route for me? But by the time I get the radio I will be pushing $400. For that much I could get a 1/8 ofna Hyper 7 PBS rtr ($409). I will use this for bashing but want to keep race options open for the future. So is the OFNA may best option? Why doesn't ROAR have a 4wd truck race class? Any suggestions/comments? Thanks.
