Sorry, but it is my personal experience that ZN line take months longer to deliver than the few weeks promised at time of ordering. And their cusomer service is the worst I have ever come across I wish I were joking but I am not

RE: Header for OS 140RX
Hi, In my personal experience the O ring headers are not necessary. I have read many different reviews and I they are much more hassle than a macs or a mueller header. I have 2 - OS140rx using both macs and mueller headers and have had no problems with either. I dont have one for sale but for those that may, what size offset header are you looking for. Cheers, Elmer

RE: os 140rx fuel lines
Hi You do need to leave the vent line open. I have 2 140rx and have them set up the same way. I have the vent line connected to a tettra 90 degree elbow coming through the fuse side next to the fuel dot. I have never found any excess of fuel sprayed down the side of the fuse after a flight or any other problems from this setup. Cheers Elmer

OS 140RX
Bax, I am considering buying a 140RX to replace an old YS motor and need some info on the diameter of the crankcase casting on this engine directly behind the prop drive hub. I need this info to see if the OS will fit the existing nose ring in the plane I have. Also, please can you tell me where I might find information on all dimensions for the OS made header for this motor. Thanks, Elmer.

Pipe for OS 140 rx
Hi, I am considering buying the OS 140RX and was wondering what pipes people are using with this engine. I was thinking of buying the OS pipe for this motor. What other options are there and how well does the engine run with the OS pipe. Thanks Elmer

RE: Best Engine for Aresti by H9
Hi I have an aresti with an OS 70 supass 4 stroke and believe me its all the power you need. The balance is perfect with the 70, vertical performance is almost unlimited and all manouvers can be done as large as you want. I have had both OS 70 and 91 four strokes and I like to have plenty of power in reserve but would say that a 91 is way too much. As for your friend with the warbird, the extra power with the 91 will help with that type of aircraft but you just don't need it with the Aresti. If you already have the engine, go ahead, put it in but be prepared to set your atv so you can only get 3/4 throttle otherwise you'll rip the wings off the thing. As regards the weight question i could'nt tell you and as regards the question about the thunder tiger engines I would recommend sticking woth the OS, as far as I am concerned there is no better quality four stroke angine than the OS. I have had my Aresti for about a year now, love lying the thing, fly it week in/week out. This plane along with the OS 70 I have is a great combination. I dont know if you have flown yours yet. If you have not I am sure you'll love it. Hope this helps Simon

RE: YS91FZ gas port mod
John, This sounds similar to the problems that I have been having. The engine will run at high throttle, but will not run at low settings. I had put a thread up about the problems but the one response I had back suggested that I had the bottom end too lean. I had in fact richened the bottom end to try and get it to run, but found that the engine would bog down and eventually quit (no matter how little I changed the needle). I have also noticed that fuel seems to be leaking from places that i dont think it should. Like yourself my motor is also out of its warranty. I understand you comments about wether it is right that the end user should have to pay for what seems to be a flaw in the design. My motor has had very little running ( approx 4 gallons ), and I dont mind saying that I'm more that a little P.O'd Thanks for the information. Simon.

RE: YS91FZ gas port mod
John, What sort of problems were you having before you had this modification. I myself have been having some problems with a 91FZ. Also can you give any information on what exactly was done to your engine and what it cost. Thanks Simon

YS 91 FZ problems
HI I have a YS 91 FZ that I am having some problems with. The motor has a about 4 gallons of fuel through it, but will just not run at low throttle without quitting. As the instructions I have set the high speed needle, and after much fiddling cannot get the low end to run reliably. I have noticed that after reducing the throttle from full to idle, the engine ticks over for a few seconds then picks up rpm and quits. Can anyone tell me if it is normal for there to be a lot of air bubbles in the tube that goes from the regulator to the carb ( at low throttle ). I have read other threads about this type of engine, and although I am very familiar wth standard four storke engines this thing has me puzzeled, Hope someone can help Simon
