RE: Yokomo R.E Amemiya RX-7 coming soon
Yokomo and tamiya both have there high and low points. I have both and love them both. The easiest way is research and see whats best for you. Dont't buy something just cause everyone has one or cause its expensive. Just research and see what is in your budget and best for you. Also I love the rx-7 but like dx3 said I would not expect that out any time soon.

RE: kinda noob needs help
Well there are planty of guys who vouch for etheir. I have a tt-01 and its a great choice. On the other hand ask magnat. He know's a couple guys who love there tl-01's. I would have to say get a tt-01 if you can afford the extra cash.

RE: kinda noob needs help
First off seems how you are asking what car to get nitro would not be a good choice. It is hard to tune and very expensive. And I would reccomend you start off with a tt-01 or tl-01. Leaning towards the tt-01. The tl-01 is however cheaper.

No offense but no on ever said it couldn't be done. Most people say consistancy is the problem. And that still seems to be the issue.

RE: drift motor?
540 is the size. They amke conversions. And for 1/10th I have to agree the co27 is the best bang for the buck. I have a micro rs4 and I run the team orion big block and that spins tires just fine.

Lol trust me it get so much crazier. I just spent 450 on my project and that was without paint, batteries, charger, servo, and tires. I basically spent it on a roller chasis, radio, esc, and motor.
