RE: What is the point
I don't know what your problems with each other are, and frankly don't care either. Take it somewhere else. If you're bored, watch TV. Having to spend an hour of my time cleaning up your mess put me in a foul mood last night, so I didn't make the usual notifications of deletion then. There was no excuse for the way that thread went last night, and it won't be tolerated in the future. Consider yourselves on secret probation now, and transgressions like the one we had last night will probably have the offending member put on Moderated Status (MS). While on MS, no one will be able to see your posts until they are approved by a moderator. Let's not go there, OK? Rob its scary when you get one of these messages in you inbox after breaking every rule on the fourms haha. i think ChrisRC remembers this hahahaa [:D][:D]

RE: not sure what to do
[quote]ORIGINAL: Chris_RC Why limit yourself to monster trucks? For some reason, even the most durable MTs (savage, lst2, revo) break more often than racing buggies and truggies (losi 8, xray 808, mugen mbx6 [almost bulletproof]). I think racing buggies adn truggies are more durable because it takes alot of durability to withstand 45 minutes to an hour of nonstop racing. [/quote] well the post he put about the cen was a monster truck so thtas waht i though he wanted.

Losi 8ight RTR.
i am thinking of getting into 1/8 scale racing. right now im running a b4 and i have no local tracks near. i usuallly go to OCRC in orange county which is 4 hours away haha. i saw this track in bakersfield and its for 1/8. im trying to get good solid car that i could build up on. i was looking at the 8ight rtr. its comes with the DX2 which i think is a good deal! and ive heard all you really need to do is get a new servo and its all good. if its rtr would i need a starter box or not? thanks for helping guys Brian and if there is already another thread about this post think link

RE: diff rebuild for b4
[quote]ORIGINAL: Chris_RC For the diff balls? Use AE stealth grease for the diff balls and ae black grease for the thrust. bingo! I think we found your problem! Black grease in the thrust will cause that. One time I put wayyy too muhc black grease in the thrust and it went to the diff balls and my diff was cruchy after that. [/quote] you just said 2 different thing hah. mean black for balls and stealth for thrust?

RE: diff rebuild for b4
[quote]ORIGINAL: Chris_RC You ran it wayyy to loose. You need to snug the diff screw up. People at ocrc will help you. When it is snugged up is it smooth? [/quote] i know i was talking to rob about it. he said my diff was pretty tight when he got it. and it was still slipping after he was done messing with it. and i felt that it was already as tight as it could go

RE: diff rebuild for b4
[quote]ORIGINAL: Chris_RC You have to buy each part seperate. For a FULL diff rebuild you need: [link]http://www.losipartshouse.com/servlet/the-24447/ASC6574-Precision-Thrust-Diff/Detail[/link]-thrust [link]http://bfastrc.com/Associated.html[/link]-rings and diff balls. These are great quality at a great price! there is a thread on rctech and nothing but good things about it! [link]http://www.losipartshouse.com/servlet/the-28997/ASC9274-Differential-Thrust-Screws/Detail[/link]-diff screw BTW I found a diff rebuild kit while I was looking, [link]http://www.losipartshouse.com/servlet/the-24729/ASC7677-Diff-Rebuild-Kit-cln-/Detail[/link]. But I would really consider getting the bfast diff and thrust balls balls and AE stelath diff grease for the diff/AE black grease for the thrust and break it in using the bfast diff breakin guide. B-FAST R/C PERFORMANCE Differential Break-In Procedure 1)Clean all parts and work area 2)Follow owners manual for assembly instructions 3)Lightly Coat Diff Balls with Silicone Diff lube, thoroughly lube Thrust Bearing with AE or Losi BLACK grease. (or equivalent) 4)Snug diff screw just until gear will not turn while out drives are held. 5)Assemble transmission per manual 6)With assembled transmission in car and car on a stand, hold one rear tire while lightly applying the throttle for about 20 seconds (about 1/4 throttle, No tire swell). Repeat while holding opposite tire. 7)Tighten diff screw about 1/16 of a turn and repeat step 6 8)Repeat step 7 two more times. 9)Slowly loosen diff screw a little at a time so rear tire turns with little or no resistance while holding the opposite tire. 10)Slowly re-tighten diff screw a little at a time until resistance is felt while turning one tire and holding the opposite. Drive car and adjust diff to suit your driving style. Do Not let the Diff Slip at anytime!! [/quote] dang...thanks chris though. i was at ocrc and my diff was slipping the whole time and now i think i killed it haha.
