Check your gear mesh and make sure your spur gear isn't getting pushed into the clutch bell. Re torque down your engine mount/angle bolts.

for 250 more than the revo just go get a muggy/truggy instead. You'll put about $1000 into it before you know it with the revo most truggys are race ready out of the box. This coming from a revo racer...I love it but it's expensive to do it. I'm getting a truggy soon too. [>:]

if you want a basher there is also the t-maxx, it's excellent for bashing. plus all the hop up for it are bashing based/engineered. easier and cheaper to fix. You can get it with a 3.3 or there is the twin electric motor version (e-maxx).

The brace adss 2 oz. to the carbon chassis. (read hardly anything at all) I love mine, (don't have the brace, because it came out after I ordered my chassis.) It's not to fix any defect in the original chassis just for added crash insurance in the underside area. You'll notice it doesn't attach to any of the weak areas. I've had no problems with mine so far and I have nasty offchamber hits /crashes all the time. I like carbon fiber too much also so the money had to be spent. there are other chassis in carbon besdies the vantage one as well. Can't remember what they are off thetop of my head but run through [link=http://www.rccna.com]rccna.com[/link] and you'll find em. I think there are two ther ones. One of 'em is DEF an improvement over the vantage frame.

Carbon is NOT the ideal choice for a basher/non-racer but those of us who are WAY too into the whole thing and race they're trucks (ME) love this stuff. I spend just as much time on my motorcycle as this truck (too much) and you can guess what that's got a lot of... you guessed it Carbon fiber!!

Just talked to Vantage today and they said they are working on them but they are not a forefront project. I forget his exact words. Also there new brace will not come out in carbon (sniff).
