That is a amazing idea! For this 1/16 scale body I think it will work really well, definitely not on my 1/8 though lol.

RE: 1/16 E revo motor options
Best recommendation is to get a better speed controller, and a 3S or even 4S lipo.

Body clips for my 1/16 revo
Hey guys, haven't been online in a long time used to be into nitro still have a MGT .21 sold my ST-1. Not to long ago bought a 1/16 revo VXL. This thing has been great ordered a 3S lipo and charger from hobbyking and it is extremely fast. Have broken quiet a few parts though mostly my fault for trying some really crazy stuff. Mostly knuckles, recently hit my friends revo we were both going full tilt, broke a few a-arms, arm pins, and the rear diff housing. Long story short I keep going through body pins like CRAZY!!!!!! Any other ideas for body pins. I am doing a order on a-main as my hobby shop charges alot for body pins over here. So which ones should I try out?? http://www.amainhobbies.com/index.php/cPath/1_1000_1013/n/RC-Cars-Trucks-Bodies-Body-Clips Any other designs sort of like a locking ring type?? Thanks!!

RE: Thunder tiger ST-1
ORIGINAL: calvino
ORIGINAL: msg73 I recently got an LRP z.28 Spec3 pullstart for my ST-1 and it ripppps!!! Sooooo much more power/speed that the stock TTR engine. I also bumped up to a 14T CB and a Dynamite 086 pipe. Very pleased with the performance. I was getting bored with the power of the stock engine and the LRP gets me excited again. Easy to break in and holds a tune really well.
nice, im considering one, whats the "run times" per tank, i hear its nice but it drinks fuel [>:] well the St-1 moto's offically dead, ran it at over 450 for about 5-8 mins, it was super worn out anyway [8|] *sigh* time for a new one [:D]
at 350 thats fine, but 450 lol is that possible XD

RE: Thunder tiger ST-1
Just get a spinstart backplate like the mach 427. That works perfectly fine from the back.

RE: Thunder tiger ST-1
You encountering issues with wear? I would just leave them as long as they are not wearing out. If they are you basically insert shims in order for the gears to mesh tight enough to a point where there is no noticeable friction. Be sure to great up the gears well with white lithium grease.

Front is, full extended 11cm, completely compressed about 8cm. That is from screw to screw. The rear is 12cm extended, 9cm compressed.

RE: help with battery, for nitro.
5v receiver pack or rx charger. So basically any 5 cell charger. You can just get a wall charger from a hobby shop will work just fine. around $10-20 depends.

RE: Thunder tiger ST-1
lmao I did two typos. I mean't warp xD. I got electrocuted in engineering class fucken capacitors were loaded pretty good and I got a awesome shock when I picked up a power supply when it was unplugged (casing was disassembled trying to jump a few wires to get it to run at 12v). Oh well lol just left me with a few spark inprints to my finger. See the four dots? That was the point it conducted to my finger [:)] http://s81.photobucket.com/albums/j202/ericem/randoms/?action=view&current=12052008060.jpg
ORIGINAL: calvino right, im thinking it may also keep temps down since i need less throttle... just a theory [:D] while im at it i may just replace my shoes, the last time i saw them they looked a little worn, nothing horendous, but it may help as for springs? can you get those different "settings" or no
Only real issue with stock shoes is they tend to warp a bit out of shape not really wear. When they warp then they won't make as much contact.

RE: Thunder tiger ST-1
I have 14T it seems to be perfect, the engine does not overheat and crap loads of all around power. Run a vented bell though. Not really for heat, but also the fact that clutch debris can escape.

RE: wich cheap sevro 2 try?
IMO for throttle you want a very reliable servo for throttle duties. IMO z590m has been my favourite most reliable dependable servo for throttle duties.

RE: How much torque do I really need
you guys are way off 300oz or go home. Are you kidding lol I used a z590m for steering at one point and it turned on carpet I was like wtf at 7v though lipo, BUT IMO if your on a budget for you low budget guys 140-150oz min less then .18 will work fine.

RE: JPX .28 (Picco) starter box question
that box can start anything IMO. Probably even a 1:1 car engine with the right size flywheel lmao. Seriously though amazing box. Recommend two 7.2 or even 7.4v packs to get the most power.
ORIGINAL: calvino OOH MY GOSH, is this pipe a 'wakeup" for the engine or what!, its 60* ish weather, kept the engine on factory specs, WOW its amazingly powerfull, barely tweaked the HSN and LSN, was goin great, i made one mistake, forgot to tighten down the glow plug :(, so the engine got to much air in, and stalled out over a jump, now the engine won't start, well, will give it a shot tomorrow [&:]
glow plug probably died. Need a new one lol.

RE: Jammin X1 CRT vs TTR ST-1 race...
ORIGINAL: kweezinarts you alone proved the point of my post, that most people would pick the st-1 with the jpx .28 but but today i was kinda disappointed to see his CRT stay right along side...
you must not be very good at tuning I assume? Something isn't right. Especially the fact that a ST-1 is much lighter then a jammin to begin with.
