Check the screen filter in the carb by taking the big screw off sounds like that might be plugged. Because you can start it after setting for a while its letting enough fuel threw to do that.

RE: SYSSA 30CC GAS MADE IN USA
In due time according to Todd at the Toledo show you just can't mount 2 motors together and expect it to work. Now that he is in his bigger shop it won't be long. Then you have the testing if it don't work and you start selling them you done.

The said thing is he didn't make the muffler a little better than the 15 you tighten the bolts on the muffler and the swivel cracks. You have to put insersts in it to keep it from cracking and going egg shaped.

RE: List of Chinese Engines
Heres another one on the market does it fall in this catagory Roto Motor 25V-25cc New gas engine. Design details. Crankcase - Is roughcast before being machined on a CNC milling cutter, it is then powder coated. Cylinder - Made from a single piece of dural with a pressed liner made from mild-granular cast iron, it is then sharpened and honed to size. Piston - Cast from silicon alloy with one piston ring. The Small end for the 8 mm gudgeon pin is honed to finish. Conrod - Is forged, with two needle bearings pressed into the conrod. Crankshaft - Is a one-piece steel item, hardened, balanced to a high precision. Back-plate – Is a cast item, which is hardened, shaped and then rolled. Good news for pilots of .90-1.20-sized aircraft: the ROTO 25V/25cc gasoline engine is now available with electronic ignition

RE: Club FOX!
I hope one of you guys can help me a little. Fox is coming out with their little gasser this summer Chuck told me they had to redue the head and make it a little bigger for heat reasons. I asked what the width of the mounting holes are and he told me that they would be the same width as the .40 to .45. I can't find any info on that or a manual to look it up so if one of you would be as kind to let me know what that is I would really appreciate it. Thanks

RE: 30cc Edge 540 build
HelividD your doing a good job as far as I can tell. Its a hobby and its something to have fun with and you work with what you have. The only thing I would do different is run about 2 gallons not 5 gallons before switching to synthetic. I've been told by an excellent engine guy that you can use synthetic from the get go but I don't I will run 2 gallon of Penzoil air cooled threw first then switch. Other than that keep doing what your doing!

RE: 3W 28i
No I mean if the stack extends threw the firewall into the fuse along with a part of the carb is there enough volume of air for it to opperate correctly or do I have to have an air flow for it. It stated it in the online manual that if extends into the fuse you need to open a hole in the back of your fuse for airflow for it. Or did I read into something thats not there. Rear induction Carburetors, whether front or rear, require a steady supply of fresh air. The best way to supply air to a rear carburetor is by installing an air scoop. Some have thought to drill holes into the fuselage near the carburetor area rather than creating an air scoop for the carburetor. This does not work, it fact it will create a vacuum effect that will draw the air away from the carburetor! Again, you should install an air scoop into the front of the plane which will supply air into the fuselage. This air will then need to flow out of the fuselage. Drill exit holes into the rear area of the fuselage 24i / 28i Engine Manual more infos: www.3w-modellmotoren.de for this purpose. Important: The interior of the fuselage must be sealed to prevent damage from gasoline that sprays from the carburetor. Use a thin epoxy or other appropriate fuel proofing method. Do not overlook this step as gasoline will melt some materials like Styrofoam very quickly.
