RE: Official E-FIRESTORM thread
As far as the Losi sct they are a lot of fun. I put a track in the basement with a banked wall, loop, and a couple jumps. With lipo they are fast but you will have to get the brass pinion and alloy motor mount (the stock ones melt). The down side is if you run them on regular carpet it gets wraped around the dogbone's. I also had to put a border around the track they are so small they get stuck under couches etc. My son wants a crawler for x-mas think im going with the Losi night crawler, seems to have the best reviews, lipo ready, and $300. I dont think it will be to big for indoor since they are not fast, and big enough for outdoors. Just my opinion.

RE: Official E-FIRESTORM thread
They are but with the 2.8" wheels the sidewall is about the same so they arent to sloppy in turn's. Also besides jumping/landing the ground clearance is great in grass. Another good thing is they weigh about the same as the stock setup.

RE: Official E-FIRESTORM thread
Thanks for the fast reply. I have switched to 2.8" Desperado wheel's and Badlands tires (5"tall) so I figure im going to wear things out a little faster than with the stock 4" tires. The trade off is worth it though for bashing. Jumps/lands better and tons of traction. Im running a 16t pinion and the truck is faster top speed but the esc and motor are cooler I assume because the tires arent spinning the whole time im driving. The punch control is @ 50% and still pulls wheelies whenever you want.

RE: Official E-FIRESTORM thread
I got the Rpm bumper for the front and Tbone for the rear. I love the Tbone works well as a wheelie bar but the Rpm digs in if you have a bad landing and causes endo's rather than letting the car roll on the front wheels...... just my opinion.

RE: Official E-FIRESTORM thread
I ordered my castle portable field programer today so I can do the updates and add a little more brakeing. The glitch is happening less and less so hopefully the updates will take care of it. I cut a small hole in the hardpacks and resoldered the conections and they seem to be doing fine. I have another question though, how does the vapor/vector setup do with 3s and stock gearing, anybody runing it that way? Are the temps real high?

RE: Official E-FIRESTORM thread
Thank's That seems like it, what causes that? Acording to CC the torque control is suposed to reduce power under acceleration but when mine does it the car hardly moves. Also it dosnt do it every time, just randomly like in the video. Can it be / should it be turned off?

RE: Official E-FIRESTORM thread
I just got my Firestorm Flux (with 4800 kv motor and 2.4 GHz radio) and need some help. The first problem is that sometimes it has a glitch (for lack of a better word) when you pull the trigger. It almost seems its not giving the motor enough power but if you let off and pull the triger again it works fine. The second problem is my lipo's, I am using it with my Gens Ace 5000mah 2s 40c lipo's. I have been using them in my Stampede 4X4 VXL for about 20 runs and have had no problems. When I used them in the Firestorm one of them quit working, I still have power (3.74V) at the balance plug but not on the main connector. I assumed it was just chance and the battery went bad. I put in a second battery and the same thing happened. Im not sure what would cause this. Any idea's?

RE: *Official* Caldera 10E Video, Picture And Discussion Thread
For the guy's running them, have the 11.1 lipo's been working out OK. I would like to try this out but was wondering how it has worked long term, any broken drivetrain parts etc.
