Have you tried staggering the engines and have you looked at bh Hanson headers? You can fit them in there I believe. Looks great! I've got an appointment for the Cnc and laser cutter On Thursday so I'm going to cut the ribs then. You work much faster than me but everything of yours looks great!

Cool. I'll check it out. Got all the ribs inputted. Working on the scale rudder, drives and air intake scoops now. Here are a couple of the basic ones I've put in. <a href="http://s398.photobucket.com/albums/pp62/f15pilot1989/?action=view¤t=3de1e894.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i398.photobucket.com/albums/pp62/f15pilot1989/3de1e894.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket Pictures, Images and Photos" /></a> <a href="http://s398.photobucket.com/albums/pp62/f15pilot1989/?action=view¤t=25cf8777.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i398.photobucket.com/albums/pp62/f15pilot1989/25cf8777.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket Pictures, Images and Photos" /></a>

I've also got a 9" rudder just like yours ready to cnc out of aluminum. I'll send you an email with better pictures.

RE: 72 inch 77 lucas oil vee
Hey Craig! Great, thanks for the info!! Yes, it is very very rewarding and extremely fun. Right now I've got a 90" Mystic styled mono drawn out on paper and I'm inputting the measurements into CAD right now so I can CNC cut them myself. Teaching myself CAD is also very rewarding and fun! Thank you again for the info. I was going to order 1/16 birch which is very expensive but now I may sheet it with 1/8". I just got done inputting all the measurements. It is twin stepped, has an overhang, 2 degree slanted steps to improve attack angle, among other cool things. Are you going to use strakes on the bottom of yours? It will be a week or two before I can get these CNC cut. The skeleton alone measures 20" x 9" just for one piece. There are 17 ribs. Anyway, thanks for inspiring me to do this. It is a blast and I can't wait to start assembling. Sorry for the bad picture quality, I was using a drafting pencil and they aren't very dark. Hi again!! Looking great! Youve inspired me to make my own. I've designed a mystic themed mono different from yours but I'd like to know the diameter of the rib structure please. Is it 1/8"? And what kind of wood are you sheeting it with? Diameter of that too? Looks great! Almost there!

"Short Spark Plugs" = need make/model please
I know we usually use the regular size NGK spark plugs on our zenoahs but I believe they make a shortened version. I'm trying to squeeze an RCMK S520 in a boat and need the extra clearance. Anyone know what I'm talking about? Thanks

I'm happy I could help! Hopefully it is something you can use. If not, just pass it on. :) If you need any help/suggestions for cheap parts , feel free to give me a call. Just PM me and I'll shoot you my number. About a year ago I built a 60" Wood boat w/ 23cc Zenoah. The entire build thread is located on [jims rc boat dock] under "60" weedy build." You may find that extremely helpful. Thanks and enjoy the engine! Alex

Check out Hobbyking.com. Lots of cheap chinese stuff. Maybe buy a $40 charger and buy the $4.99 "20 adapter" for the charger. The 20 adapter fits 20 different plugs.

73" Mystic... paint ideas and anodizing question
I'd like to get two large billet aluminum grilles anodized black (they are currently polished) along with the bolts that secure them to the boat. Does anyone do anodizing and what are their prices? Any feedback from consumers? I plan on doing an all black Air Force themed RCMK S-520 powered 73" Mystic catamaran and need some anodizing done. I will have "United States Air Force" down the port and starboard side of the cat and the cockpit modeled after a stealth B-2 . I did another boat like this (An A/C Rebel) and really liked it. This picture was taken before the decals were applied. Any thoughts on this? I don't care to have a scale paint job like the real boats. This will be my shelf queen. :)

RE: 28cc with carb on bottom?
It is air cooled (Perfect for an open cockpit like you're building), has an upgraded walbro carb, has a clutch, square insert for the flex cable, x-box exhaust, and I may have a set of mounts for it... not sure. If I do, I'll throw those in too. I bought three of these from a guy for really cheap and I sold one which puts all these other engines in the clear as far as profit... anyway, it may be easier to work with this one. Not the nicest but then again, probably easier to deal with. I think it is 32cc Mccolloch modded. A guy I bought them from used to race these in his boats so it'll be good for your application. And if you don't use it, just pass it on. Shipping will probably be $15.50 shipped priority USPS.
