RE: KMP Corsair
hey great information thanks. I bought a 32oz fuel tank and just as I was noticing that it intterfers with my wing. Did you use the stock tank and how much flying time did you get. I think with gas you would need a larger tank. What do you think?

Is there anything i should do to mine that you would have done differently? I have the same set up. Could you post some photos of your exhaust? I’m trying to fit the exhaust in the cowl also. I’m glad you got it of the ground finally.

mine broke when I installed it. I had to go with a 1/8 th stell rod and rebend the tail wheel and make one of my own.

RE: KMP Corsair
I was wondering about that myself. Some people sware by it, others don't. I'm getting ready to assembley my elavator and would like to see what others think. I was looking at where the guides for the cables are and it look a little off to me. It looks like it will be pulling at a steep angle and not stright on like i thought. I'm also looking at how the rod fits to the elavator and gets mounted. Do you need to cut out some of the elovator to fit the rod in so you have less gap between the two sections? This is my first ARF and I'm glad I met some real good friends to help. One I meet right here and found out he lives 20mins away. He helped me with my flaps and we did it the way thay show in the Distructions.

We are applying some aircraft resin to the inside of the center wing section and fuse to try and keep this thing together. I sent the first corsair back because it had the kmp retracts on it and I bought the sierra giant retracts

I'm still putting mine together and I start on the flaps this Friday with a friend of mine. I have been working on mine for about 3 weeks it has been a nightmare the manual leaves allot to your interpretation. I just hope I can get this thing to fly.

RE: Brison 2.4 Stock Muffler???
How did you make out with your muffler? Is it loud? I want to use that muffler in a corsair. I think I might cut the pipe a little and change the angle. What do you think?

I'm going with the same engine combo as you and I was wondering what was it you had to do to the exhaust to fit in the cowl. I like the slight angle of the exhaust. No flights yet?

Loved the video. I'm still waiting for my kit and my Brison. I was wondering if you could give us some tips on how you connected the flaps to the servo, how you connected the main flap to the outer flaps, and did you use the CG outlined in the manual @133mm. Again great video I hope to see more Corsairs take to the skies as others build more. Good to see it fly.[:)]

RE: Giant Scale Corsair ARF, Yes or No Poll
I think this is a good question to ask. I love the Corsair to me there is no other plane I would rather have. I don't have the time to build and love larger models in the 80" range. I had to order one from KMP (china) I would love to send my money to the good old USA.

Sounds great, I just got my Sierra Giant scale Retracts in the mail yesterday they look great. My corsair came in last month, but I sent it back because it had come with the KMP retracts. Now it looks like it will be April. o'well it will be worth in the long run.
