Id say the tennis courts at your local school are the best ive found altho warehouse concretes pretty sweet if you have acess to a spot. Underground parking garages are always nice. smoothers better when your gettin it sidewayz!!

RE: Help picking RC Trucks for my two sons
Go for a couple of the electrix trucks. The minis are pretty small and dont handle rough terrain at all. At least thats my experience. Go 1/10th

RE: Associated rc10t4.1 or Traxxas Slash 2wd ?
Hmm 250 so wer talking brushed models here right. Id say the t4 altho IMO its a fair bit Less durable then a slash. Dont get me wrong its tough but when my slash flips and rolls I laugh and when i cartwheel the t4 i cringe. thats just me tho

RE: Need ideas on slash 4x4 MT body
I bought the proline desert rat carnage body and altho i dont like running it on the track racing when i put my big tires on its great cuz the fenders just pop off giving the truck a mean buggy look.

RE: Associated RC10T4.1 - How strong is the transmission?
My slash....racckataccckkttaaaccka my T4 silent. i was amazed last weekend when i ran them both back to back at the track. T4 is goo for brushless!! Keep the evader and get a NEW toy you know you wanna!

RE: New and looking for advice
If you want something that will jump and be fast and durable then the stampedes ok. Its just after you do everything you can to it its still gonna be a stampede.(the 1/5 thing was interesting tho) You said you used to "four wheel" what about an Scx-10. Then you could have the truck of your dreams on a smaller scale. i gaurantee you that if you had one youd be setting up crawl trails right next to the dirt bike ones lol plus the building and customizing is endless and something you guys could do together. Just a few other suggestions besides the scampede. *edit* if you were my buddy I would have already passed the remote on my ol' stampedee AND my Scx...... wed be off on some trail with the dingo!! and the scampee would be spinnin its tires at the bottom of the hill

RE: Associated RC10T4.1 - How strong is the transmission?
I love my T4 and it holds up to my 5700kv CC combo pretty well. I will say tho.....The ONLY time ive broken anything on it was when i put bigger tires on it and when i tried to run SC wheels and tires. Broke something just about every tumble or cartwheel. Put back the stock tires and shes fine. Just my experience tho. Shes fast and nimble around the track but for bashing she feels a bit fragile.

RE: Recommendations? Direction in a Decision Please!
Ill throw in a few pennies. It kind of sounds like you have a vehicle that is capable off road speed antics so your not searching for more of that per say....altho your interested in an MT perhaps. Maybe try and find one of the last run Honcho rtr or kit if thats more your style. I havent really looked but im thinking thats in your price range .definately could be wrong on that tho. Im having a blast tinkering on my Scx10 it seems like the possibilties are endless! Plus lets face it what other vehicle can take you where these scalers can, Everytime out is like a whole new adventure! Plus you have hinted at your desire for "scale looks" soooooo..........Scx10 Merry christmas happy new year DONE DEAL!!!!

RE: My Crawler Track
Hmmm dont know what kind of truck your getting but if it was me id be adding a few "off road track" type sections for some unlimited 4x4/crawler (Wraith) racing! Crawling only rocks is fun but jumps and straights are fun too! Impressive sea of rubble tho bro keep us posted with pics.
