I think we batter never discuss political or con and other related.. I'm afraid before we know the performance of the engine this thread was locked. I know who you are Mr grpro001, and also I'm platinum member of UH... so batter never con people doing business. I only know LHS are cut-throat. I really wana support LHS but then they price are unbelievable. so batter stop here before this thread locked. So guys.. I really need some input on this gasser.. Thanks in advance.

RE: Nitroplanes Seawind
You need speed to turn this things.. if u have speed there is no prb to turn it. If you don't have speed then you can play punch and release your throttle.. it's mean push the throttle immediate then immediate pull.. in mean time u need to turn your rudder to max.. Play it's first and you will use to it. I play till half tank and to taxi it it's pretty kool.. have fun.. fay

RE: Nitroplanes Seawind
Hi Ian. Firstly i hope you will get your SeaWind soon. I'm using ST .90 ringed with stock pipe.. so bulky muffler but only minimum drill out due have muffler extender, but plenty of power with APC 2 blade 12x8. It's only around 1/2 - 3/4 prop clearance to fuselage. I use triple rate one my flaps, 1st step it's only 1/2" and 2nd step is 2 3/4. (I'm little bit forgot the actuals figure.. will check it tonite for your info). Using 1st step for take off and 2nd step for landing. Need very gentle throttle and can't be immediate else you will spin the plane and I did this few times :D . before take off I did play taxi around half tank to see how to turn this this with out NO water rudder. To turn this thing are very simple if you play 3D with no tail wheel dragger control.. exactly same way.. to land this things u need full flaps down (i use 2nd rate) and more than +-1/4 throttle else you'll drop this plane. I'm using all sullivan rod to elev and rudder except rudder I use simple bellcrank to out put. All servo at front fuselage except throttle rudder and his place. I'm adding weight around 280gr at the end front and the battery also at this end front.. I'm keep them tight. Oh boy.. this is true scale amphibian and this end week if weather allow i'll try to climb higher and trying to fly as slow it's can and will give some report.
