RE: boo
I have to take the WASL which is just washington version of state standardized test and im sure its not that hard and for us, once you pass it freshmen year, you get to sleep in for the next three years of high school while the freshmen are taking it. got to love it. Are you worried its too hard? Usually State standardized tests are not too hard. There just to make sure that you have learned and fully understood what you need to while in high school.

I know that RPM is un breakable and all that stuff and after have exprience with them before, i know its some good stuff, but i was just wondering about these caster blocks if anyone had any problems if any?

RE: Official Rustler Thread
Fully assembled chassis - $49 w/ shipping - This would be ideal for you, even comes with a servo, linkage and new VXL screws. This way you can use most of your Stampede for spare parts and just move over your ESC and motor and a few other parts... Just the chassis, upper deck & ESC mount plate - $23 w/ shipping - I believe this is the least that you need. I seem to remember that the upper deck on the stampede is different too. Not sure what you mean about chassis "tricks"... just convert it to a rustler, get your wheels lined up good and you should be golden... well you could always go with better shocks to improve handling, but one thing at a time right? Honestly if you can come up with $50 that assembled chassis would make things for you ALOT easier and it's actually a pretty good deal with the shock towers, body mounts, servo and linkage... besides that, spare parts are always a good thing to have on hand! Here's a description if you didn't check the link yet... This is a brand new, never ran, Traxxas Rustler VXL chassis roller. Kit comes with the following parts: Front & Rear suspension arms Castors & Cambers Full set of wheel bearings Left & right VXL driveshafts Upper and lower chassis plates Bell-crank steering assembly Turnbuckles and camber links Front & rear body mounts & shock towers Front & rear bumper Battery hold-down Traxxas Tool kit Assembly manual Spare pinion gear
yeah i saw that, i'm just gonna wait untill i get a little money for a LiPo and get that first then the chasis. thanks for the help and the links.

RE: OFFICAL PEDE THREAD
probably. I cant see how you are having that many problems. Get a better battery. My stampede will turn around on my sidewalk and with power it will turn around in my street. But it took me a year to set it up right. Maybe you have it turned down on your radio. I also have a digital servo and the futaba fasst system though
maybe its on the radio, but im just work with horrible steering for a while, like you said just get it set up and just work with it and then buy a rustler roller. thanks for all of the help. i've been so busy but i just turned in my 30 page essay that i have been working on since september so the loads got a little easier. lol

RE: Official Rustler Thread
I think all you have to change is the chassis and maybe the front bulkhead (not sure if that's different. I believe you can still leave the body mounts as they are and keep the stampede body if you want to. Or you could take off the rear tower extension and get a new front body mount to use the Rustler body. A kid in my local club said the same thing after bashing around with me and my Rustler. He likes his stampede, but it's CG is too high for the kind of power and speed these brushless systems can put out. It's even a bit much for the Rustler if you don't have good driving skills. You will have a lot more fun if you make this conversion, I promise!
thanks i really hate this things turning capibilties, and i really wanna nimble truck, Not like F-1 nimble but atleast something that will turn in the general direction i want it too. lol do you know of any quick chasis tricks i can do to make this thing a little better while i wait for some cash?

RE: Official Rustler Thread
hello im new to electric but RC and i recently picked up a Stampede VXL and i realized its sucks at braking, braking, jumping basically everything, its fast but thats about it. And i wanna convert it to a Rustler to get better handling, i think all need is the Rustler Chassis and support bracket right? are there any other things i need to consider when doing this swtich? will this improve handling? Thanks Ferrari

Can i convert it over to a ruslter? i know that handles alot better, could i buy a chasis and a couplpe of other things to make this thing actually handle? what would i need to do this? all i need is to just new chasis, chasis support braces, what else?

RE: OFFICAL PEDE THREAD
Okay im new to the electric buy not to RC. I recently picked up a Stampede VXL (assuming the Stampede XL-5 and VXL both use the same thread, dont see why there would be two different threads for basically the same truck. anyway) All i have done to it is, replace the Radio system with my Spektrum DX2.0 and replaced the shock dampeners and i noticed while driving with a simple 6 cell Venom 3000 MaH that this sucks at turning while at speed its not the turning radius is bad its just i turn right and its keeps going straight, the only way to get it to turn is to let off the throttle to zero. Now i know it shouldn't suck this bad cause my friends Rustler VXL is nimble and agile and the Stampede isnt and there basically the same truck so why the difference? Im pretty confident i haven't screwed with it to much, all i did was replace the shock dampeners (as i said before) with the single hole instead of the stock 2, (not Sure what the technical term for those are?) to get a little stiffness outj of these pethetic shocks because the shocks at stock are softer then all get out. So, is there any tricks or special mods to get this thing to turn at speed? and i was thinking about switching the wheels around because the back seems to have the nice offset, i was thinking that might help with turning. And the braking on this thing sucks as well. Is there a way to increase the braking resistance on my Spektrum while not hurting the motor? Im looking for a good Lipo that acutally fits, what good lipos that are under $50-$60 and can get me to the 55MPH range atleast or is that asking to much? like i said im new to electric and dont know really how lipo ratings and all that stuff works so yeah little help will be nice or a link that explains lipos and the technical stuff on electrics would be nice. Thanks Ferrari

RE: Mike Tyson's ABANDONED mansion
there is no way its been abandoned since the 60's. Yeah the pool is green but thats what happens in a short time with no working filter system. if its been abandoned for almost 50 years there would be alot and i mean ALOT more damage like broken windows, deads plants, ALOT more dust, its just looks like he ripped everything out and left all of the retro stuff behind. EDIT: this will most likely be deleted because of what else is on that site, so if you wanna not get a deleted thread, find a different link, or save the pictures and post them as an attachment.
