RE: MT 35 Looks Like a Winner
Just so everyone knows, it's not all bad news for the MT35. I received mine about 8 weeks ago, and finally got a chance to run it for the first time yesterday. I have not had the quality issues listed here. It took a while to get it primmed, but seems to run great after that. Running an 18x10 MA, no tach readings yet.

RE: MT 35 Looks Like a Winner
My carb seems to be installed 180 deg from what the video shows. The throttle arm and mixture screws are on the cyclinder end which is the way I need it for my installation, but which way is right, or does it even matter?

RE: MT 35 Looks Like a Winner
I'm installing this engine in a CMP me109. I'm kinda a newbie to gas engines, and I'm not sure of a few things like should I remove the spring on the carb? What to do about the choke lever. Is 6v ok for the ignition?

RE: CMP BF109F BUILDING THREAD
I'm in process of installing the engine (MT35), and I'm wondering about thrust angle. Should it be 0 deg or the 2 degrees down and right thrust suggested in the manual?

RE: Looking for a Lou Andrews Trainermaster kit.
I don't have the kit, but I do have a RTF Trainermaster with motor and servos for sale. I got in a package deal from a friend of mine. He said it flys great! Let me know if anybody is interested at uap@fuse.net, or PM me here on RCU.

4 cycle
Has anyone ran the 26cc ryobi 4cycle engine in a deep V? I would like to try this on a 55" pleasure/speed boat.

WM cub with GeeBee floats
I am thinking about installing 33" GeeBee floats on a World Models J3 Cub (71" WS). Are these floats the correct size? I thought I heard somewhere that the floats should be 80% of the fuselage length(prop washer to rudder hinge). I'm not sure what the actual length off the WM cub is, but I think its around 48"??. Any thoughts?
