RE: Radian or Cularis?
So I caught my first nice thermal with me Cularis today and wow it likes to climb! I was up for 8 min and it was fantastic. Got to the point where I was getting a little nervous at how high it was going. Any way hope you are still looking at the Cularis, it is a great glider and flies very well off of a high start. Have fun with what you decide on. Fire

RE: Radian or Cularis?
I have to say that the Cularis is a great flying glider! It does take a little to set it up but once done there is nothing else to worry about. If you are in this to fly and only fly the Radian should do you well. I have not flown it, but hear great things about it. The Cularis is my first glider in about 15 years and really is not hard to put together, it just takes some time.

RE: GreatPlanes Fling 48.75" HLG
I am interested in this arf also. Would love to know what people say about it. One of the nice things about this glider is that it comes with it's own hi start, all for only $69 what a deal.

RE: Cularis Wing Connection
SO has anyone had problems with the conections that are from the factory? I just launched mine on a high start today for the first time. What a cool glider, puts my GL to shame

RE: Help in setting up my Cularis
I have hand launched it on flat ground to get is set up but am waiting for my high start to arrive. If the 50mph wind would stop I would go hand launch again. I will see what I can do for a video once I sling it.

I got to fly my Cularis!
Well kinda, I was doing some hand launches and WOW! It wanted to go for ever. I would 30-40ft and it would go 50-70 ft up. Over wet ground and light breeze it still wanted to stay at altitude. I am really impressed with how well it handles. Hi start should be here this week and if the wind will remain light I should be in buisness. Thank you everyone who gave me pointers! Fire

RE: Help in setting up my Cularis
aeajr, I was able to get most of this done today, but now I am having a problem with my L flap in that when I input L aileron it goes up but the flap will not. On the R side the flap will go up when you give R input. I used 4 wing 1 R aileron, 5 L, 2 ele, 4 rudder, 6&7 flap I have used the manual, some thing just did not seem to be working at first. Other than the deal with my flap, every thing is working good for now. I just need to figure this one out. I did set up crow and flap aileron mixing so that may be the problem. Thank you

RE: Witched Women ( see how high she flys)GL bash
You could get some shot from a sporting goods store and epoxy it in or smelt down those old tire weights and make solid wieghts out of them.

RE: how do you reset a radio
I have done this a couple times now and for some reason it will not reset. I get the 2 beeps and nothing happens once you shut it off. Once you turn it back on it shows the same model that you had before. Not sure what I should do from this point forward

1/4 balsa usa cub
Hey all, Been a long time that I have been on here! I am working on this kit and am having problems with the boot cowl area. The plans show a 1/4" piece placed from the F-2 former up to the fire wall and then a 1/8" piece placed on top of that. The build manual shows none of this in great detail as well as the plans. it seems that the 1/4" piece will hang over the side by about 1/8" . If someone has pictures of this portion of the build that would be very benificial. I am kind of at a stand still for the moment! Thanks, Andy

Balsa usa 1/4 cub
as long as this kit has been around I can't find a thread any where! Has anyone built this kit and how did it go? What was the flight like? I plan on powering this kit with a satio 91 and am wondering what people think? I am not looking for vertical preformance. I would just like a good touch and go airplane. A real cub does not have much in the way of power I would think this would be the same! Any thoughts?
