ORIGINAL: captinjohn I have a C.G. Extra 330 and it does fly real nice.  I would sell the airplane, engine and a JR Radio system for that $$.  Use the privite email and give me your phone number.   Thanks.
I bet you would..........OP, stay away from this bird. Heavy, and doesn't fly anything like a Mojo, Primo, OMP etc. etc.

RE: DLE 55-RA
I am surprised if you visit these forums that you have not heard about this one sooner. If money is no issue, I would get the DA60. If it is, the 55 will be a great engine also.

choke question
I have a paticular 50cc engine that has been taking about 30+ flips (cold with choke on) to get a pop when starting after it has been sitting for a week or so. When it does pop, it will run for about two seconds and then quit. Four more flips and it is running great. In the air it runs great. I know that it should not take so many flips to draw fuel........I am wondering what is the issue is. Tank/lines etc. are all new but the engine is about 3.5yrs. old with about 14gal. through it. I just got it a few months ago and it seems as though it is taking more and more to get the carb primed. Is it time for a carb rebuild to solve this? Thanks.

RE: wiring help please!!
So, you couldn't just plug the 3 wire servo wire coming from the ESC, (the one you plug into channel 3) into an ON/OFF switch and then plug it into your RX? How does everyone else do it? Thanks.

wiring help please!!
I have been into gassers for many years now and have totally forgotten alot of my electric knowledge so I appologize for the lame question. How would you wire in an On/Off switch to your electric setup so that even though the batt. is hooked to the ESC, the servos/motor would be off? Then, with the flick of the switch, everything is up and running ready for flight? thanks.

RE: Great planes yak 54 25%
It was set up just fine and I have been flying giant scale for 10+yrs. If you haven't read any other criticisms then you haven't searched much! Take a look over on FG and see if you can find any posts on it. My comparison is based on flying other high end planes that truly are designed for 50cc engines (ex. Extreme Flight, Peak, AW, Pilot etc.). The GP Yak cannot hold a candle to these true 50ccer's as it is very overweight for its wing area having some 300sq. in less and having to support the same equipment. If you have not ever flown a "great" 50cc plane then of course you don't know what you are missing and it would seem to fly fine.

RE: CG Bucker Jungman
I used to fly one with a Saito 1.50 as well-super easy going plane that would still do most any manuever you wanted. As much interest as these generated it is a shame that they killed it.....that and the CG Ultimate just blows my mind!!

RE: Great planes yak 54 25%
You should have just saved your money and got something worth having (ex. Extreme Flight Yak). Yeah, more money for sure but words can't describe the flight, quality and craftmanship differences between the two! I had the GP Yak years ago with a Brilleli 46 and it is not what a Yak should be! If all you can do is burn holes in the sky t hen you'll prob. be happy enough.

I have a Primo w/a .55AX-awesome combo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I like the Primo even better than the Mojo. I can have one from box ready to cover in about 8hrs.-super easy to build and WILL be the best 3D plane you've flown. Check out some of McDDD's Primo vids!!!

RE: just starting 3D ???
Though I have always had a soft spot for the Sudo...it is oldschool and no tube! First time you dork it good it will break behind the wing-either rebuild it or get a Mojo! As another ProBro said above, there is no replacement for time on the stick and burnt fuel. Learn your rudder like the back of your hand and you will see what develops from there!!!

RE: Stinger 120 gas engine choices.
The Homie 33cc if it came from the Bandit or Ranger saw is a powerhouse! I have two of them-sold the first one like an idiot and still have one stashed away. I could always just give it a good flip after primin well and it would start easy as an EI engine and spin a Xoar 18x6 at 9,000. I had it on a Jerrys Big Boy and would hover it less than half throttle. It would be a fine choice for the 1.20 Stinger.

RE: Stinger 120 gas engine choices.
Question is....do you have any gas engines in that size now or are you going to be buying one? Tell us more. That said, a G38 or any strong 30cc+ will do just fine as long as its not a lead slead. I would deff. be going gas and not a big glow/converted glow to gas. Good luck. I am working on a Giant Stinger now and it will have a G62.

What plane are you pulling around with the 22B? Mine is on a Giant Aeromaster and it has all the power plus some that I could ever need. Plane weighs just over 20lbs. I like the unique sound of the G62-especially with the Vess.
