RE: What's on your building table or next in line?
I've aquired and old Midwest Giant Sweet n Low stick last year that I'm going to start on after I finish up the old Smoothie I started awhile ago. Now that I purchased a 14x7 trailer I'll be able to haul it around. But really need to add on to the shop after it's built. flynte

Will break in the engine tommorrow also and should be able to maiden fri nite or sat. It's a nice looking bird for sure and look forward to see it doing a low pass down the line! flynte

RE: Seagull PC-9 Build advice please
As mentioned, not onboard glow but a remote glow setup. here's a link to one. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXD694&P=7 flynte
ORIGINAL: CowboyLifesaver 46ax runs fine without remote glow inverted with an OS type F plug. I've had two of these as well, keep your power up in loops is the only thing i noticed that I could call bad. It likes to fall out

I was running the 11x5 apc on mine with the 46 and was quite satisified...not too fast and could pull some good vertical and large outside loops flynte

RE: 4 Stroke wont run without glow plug
ORIGINAL: ChuckW They will also backfire and spit the prop if they are too lean. You could also have a bad glow plug. Sometimes they'll glow with power hooked too them but they won't maintain the catalytic reaction to stay hot when you take power away.
Thanks.....Ive seen this way also....everyone said i was mad to toss the plug,, flynte

Had the same crappy weather as you did in Alberta. Just got my first flight of the year in a couple days ago. Maidened my Kadet with floats !! Little less than a spa day , but definetly enjoyable!! Raining this weekend here also , so probably not flying. flynte
ORIGINAL: andrew66 Here in Canada, we have had one hell of a winter (3rd coldest ever) and the spring has been windy, warm

RE: First float flight
I like the suggestions! It is a 72mhz, but I could pin the yarn on the back of verticle stab just in front of the rudder also. Unfortuantly I don't have a 12x5 in "stock". I'll definitely get one on the next order thou. Thanks! flynte edit.. forgot to mention I did leave 3.25" clearence above the floats with the 12"
