RE: EXI 450 thread
Hey guys.! New to the thread, which i hope is still alive. I am building up a exi450v2 cnc head /plastic tail model. Im using hxt900 servos. Noticed allot of other people are also. Will look into a better tail servo soon. My main problem with the build at this moment is installing the hxt900's into cyclic. I mounted the first one from the inside out then realized i have no screws to put them in. The bag of screws that you guys say is xtra, contains 2 micro nuts and bolts that i could use for one servo but what about the rest ? the hxt900 does come with some screws but they are not mounting screws Sorry if its a repeated question couldn't find it anywhere. So how did you guys with hxt900's or other servos mount them into the exi450, what screws used? where to get them etc thanks!!

RE: flustered!! need help!!
hello, just to clear up your answer in my head. ..hahaha. so if im using a 2s 3200 mah 20 c lipo.. i can set my balance charger to a maximum charge rate of 3.2A .. and i can set the discharge rate with safety cutoff to 20c ? what is the conversion of 3c to amps.?? How horrible would it be to push up the charge rate a notch to 5.0a with a 2s 3200 mah lipo ?? and is it bad to charge a lipo at a different rate on different occasions.?? thanks so much .!

RE: What about Wal-Mart?
i really dont understand why its cheaper online, when all distros are the same price..the main point i make with online sales is. you have to read between the price.. you can see a savage flux at the hobby shop for 700. the see one online for 650.. add shipping and whatever else costs and it wil quickly hit the same price.. if your getting stuff for free its probably cheap stuff.. and sorry to hear aboutt he no lhs in your area.. It is interesting that online sales have pushed allot of peope into the hobby. as it turns out,, sometimes people that buy online come to my store and are happy that there is a real store to look at items..

RE: eagle 50 helicopter
Im still waiting on someone to please post more info on rebuilding information, unless i dotn need it. what im trying to figure out is the exact factory sizes of the ball links. i bought a nice digital caliper and want to set them ALl with the caliper. When you rebuild any heli, do you mostly go by the balance of the rotor head ? or by the exact specs from the manufacturer.?? thanks guys. btw so far no problem with motor.. but its weird that the brushless upgrades were available once on xheli. and they dont sell them anymore.

RE: eagle 50 helicopter
yeah ive had a similiar problem with raidentech, although not related to the eagle 50 which i also own and hate constantly needing to replace parts. basically ordered a few 3 channel helis from raidentech.. the shipping is ridiculously priced. they really should use fedex which charges 30% cheaper than ups.... on top of thier bad service. no reply.. one of my helis came with no TX ... its a channel rtf pixy and i ordered 2 one had a tx one didn't. i contacted them finally and they said what freq is it and they will send it out.. after giving them all my info and they said they would send it to me.. its been two months already and no TX in the mail. they keep repeating themselves like a robot answering machine when i send email, so screw them they get a bad buisness rating and have been reported to the better business bureau ..
