RE: revo 2.5r will not start. at all.
Thought I'd chime in. There could be a blockage in the fuel tank itself. I had the same problem once, and i was pulling my hair out trying to fix the problem. Turns out there was some dirt granules in the tank were the carb line connects to the tank. Just a suggestion for you.

RE: T-Hawk vs. Aerobird Challenger??
Old thread but, had to chime in. I've flown both and both are fun, and fly great as well very easy to fly. But the T-hawk is a better deal and its more aerobatic, it can do rolls, the aerobird cant because of the v-tail. Hobbyzone customer support is A+. I never had to deal with T-Hawk support though. So i say T-Hawk.

Does anyone fly the T-Hawk? That's the best ABC type plane IMO.

RE: My Local Hobby Shop Gave Me A PZ Stryker!!! - Video Clips!
Looks like you had a great time! Cool vids too! Congrats on your new Stryker! I remember about a year ago going to my hobby shop set on getting a Stryker. I get there and there all out! And i wasnt leaving without a plane so i got the Aerobird Extreme. Turned out great, Many flights and not a single crash and its an excellent AP platform. I may yet get a Stryker but, it seems like it would be easy to lose orientation which is scary.

RE: Setting up my aerobird extreme
I think your in sport mode. For slow turns and such while learning to fly. Try pro mode and you will notice a diffrence.

RE: Aerobird Challenger vs. T-Hawk
IMO the T hawk is far better plane. You can put your own gear and it can barrel roll. Its just a far better overall package.

RE: aerobird barrel rolls
I've done barrell rolls on a stock ABX, and heres a vid to prove it. The camera is mounted on the plane. You can tell were the roll is, I go into a steep dive then pull up and push the stick hard up/ left or right. You MUST have alot of altitude to try it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NK0H4GWun8o

RE: Do you also stop in at the Traxxas forum?
I like the Traxxas Online community forums but, the Mods really need to lighten up a bit. Its true alot people buy T-maxx or Revo so they can mod them. I mean who really owns a stock T-maxx for more than a week? People want aftermarket parts so they go to the forums and ask questions about certain products. But, the Traxxas people dont like that. Shame

RE: who would win?
I gotta say it depends on the pilot... But, if i had to dogfight against those 3 planes i would choose the ABC because its pretty nimble. I have an ABX and have owned 3 ABC. But, overall definately the pilot who knows his plane..

RE: Am I ready for a warbird???
Yes you can fly a Warbird no prob! I say this because I've flown many electric parkflyers including a Warbird (GWS Zero) I recently bought a venom Night ranger II heli and tried to fly it and it gave me a hard time! I didnt break it but, Its in my closet for now! BTW you'll find that Warbirds are very twitchy compared to other planes, they respond quick to controls. well, that's how my Zero was.

RE: Aerobird Challenger Mods
Hey dont worry! My first electric plane was the Firebird outlaw! I had minimal success with it. My 2nd was the ABC. My first flight with it was awesome! It just flew! And keep in mind, it was in sport mode. My heart was racing the whole time. I did a few loops, it was great. I did all the mods before my maiden but, i didnt crash until maybe my 10th or 15th flight because i got cocky with it. No damage... Then i finally tried pro mode and that was it! i never looked back! The ABC is Easy to fly and it flies great. Just remeber, not too windy and just fly to gain height before you try tricks. About a year later i tried the T-hawk and i like it better because it could roll and because you could swap gear. But,the ABC is great. Good customer support. I've sold all my other planes and i now only fly the ABX. I wanted it because it handles wind really good and i can strap my Aiptek IS-DV mini camcorder to it and do AV. Anyway enough babbling! Have a Great flight![:D]

RE: aerobird extreme
Turn the front yellow screw underneath the tail counterclockwise a full turn. That should fix the climb/stall issue.

RE: Which planes NOT to buy
Yeah i bought a CC Lee B-2 bomber a few years back. Disaster!! It too atomized at a 2-5 mph crash from about 10ft into grass! It was an e-bay purchase, when i got the plane the box had a big orange sticker on the side that said " TO BE SOLD ONLY IN THE PEOPLES REPUBLIC OF CHINA".. hmph!
