yes it is for sure going into LVC with the slow flashing red light. i have been just turning it off and timing my runs just so i can get some play time on this thing. should i still try switching to a smaller pinion again? down from the 24tooth.

slash w/velineon motor/esc issues...
i have a slash with a traxxas velineon esc and 3500kv brushless motor and im trying to run my Flightmax 4350mAh 3S Lipo with it. but with the lipo fully charged, whenever i go full throttle, the esc goes into lipo cut off mode and reduces my throttle to 50%. ive changed around my gearing and that hasnt worked for me. my current gearing is 24/86. anyone have any idea's? thanks.

I got 2 2200-2s and got 2 1550-3s I plan to use the two 1550 in parallel and the two 2200 also in parallel and series in what of those circumstances should I change the pinion gear from the stock one to the other that came with? Thanks
when just running the 3S alone, i had to change my pinion to a 23 to stop overheating. when running the two 2S together in series you will have to change it to the spare pinion that came with the truck, the smaller one. everything else should be fine with stock gearing.

I am going to go buy a micrometer and measure myself.. One guy posted: Height: 20.3mm Width/Depth: 35.5mm Length: 102mm and then in the same post he suggests a battery that is 21mm So.. What's the max battery size? 21 or 20.3mm? In these cars MM matters.
so whats the verdict?

RE: OFFICIAL MINI E-REVO THREAD!!!
ORIGINAL: patatchim There this thing, that its called internal resistance. It affects all batteries, some more others less. Thats why you don´t see a linear graph on discharge charts for batteries. Lipo is a lot more efficient than nimh, the current that you put is the current that you get, this is current/discharge efficiency. Also: Lipo have a small internal resistance compared to nimh. This is why lipo maintains their tension pretty well when a load is placed. This is why lipo is more efficient than nimh. So, yes, efficiency is the correct term. If you want to know more, here are some terms that may help you understand all about batteries: - nominal tension - discharged/charged tension - discharge/charge current - internal resistance - Ampere Hours A good site to look would be [link]http://google.com[/link] .
thank you :D
ORIGINAL: Wild YFZ 450
ORIGINAL: klaze Running 2s lipo will give you better performance over 7.2v NIMH Even tho it is the same voltage the Lipo can deliver the power more efficiently. Grammar is not important. It's impossible to find a company that doesn't exist because it was spelled wrong.
You are WRONG, Lipo can deliver more power because it has less voltage drop when you are on the throttle, Not because of efficency, which would because of the motor, Nice try though.
wouldnt less voltage drop in acceleration on a lipo make it more efficient that a nimh battery? ...therefore making it a more efficient battery because of less voltage drop.. ..your basically just adding to his statement, so he isnt actually wrong he just never said why it was more efficient.
ORIGINAL: dacaur
ORIGINAL: micro guy I think they are they same? As peelin out said can anyone plese confrim it before i order?
No, the slash springs are NOT the same!! You want tan http://www.thetoyz.com/cart/thetoyz_search.lasso?keywords=7147 and black http://www.thetoyz.com/cart/thetoyz_search.lasso?keywords=7148. The e-revo spring rates are about double what the slash rates are. The slash has about half the tire/wheel weight to control, so doesnt need as heavy springs as the e-revo.... The stock oil is 45 wt, so yes thats what you would want to refill the fronts if you are happy with the damping now, but I would go heavier, 50 or 55 and 65 in the rear if you run two batt's.... Thats where I plan to start anyway
oh i assumed he was asking about size only, my bad. the weights are different.

RE: OFFICIAL MINI E-REVO THREAD!!!
ORIGINAL: MuggyDude I don't want to start the old losi vs. trx debate, but Traxxas nitro vehicles break a lot more than losi nitro. Maybe the XXL is a worse handler than the LST2, but the LST2 is way more durable than the revo. Shock tower seams to be a bad driver, not the truck. You probably landed a 20 foot jump on the roof of the car. How could you break the backplate? I've not seen anyone with a bad fuel tank, and it only costs $10. I don't know what's up with your servo, my JRs have lasted for 4 years. And only 1/4 gallon on it? You haven't even fully broken it in yet. The XXL can easily hit 48, and the revo only hits 45 mph. It's tippy in corners because you haven't adjusted the shocks or you have the preload way up. A good muggified race LST2 will beat a E-revo platinum edition any day. And my Muggy, oh it will out perform any revo hands down stock, and with some truggy tires and and a 1 piece engine mout it will eat up any revo.
hah you compared them first...

haha alright.. to each his own i guess. but theres not a chance a nitro lst2 could beat a mamba e revo anywhere. my local track has a monster truck class, and only 2 guys run losi MT's and they almost always finish at the bottom of the pack. one of my buddies wins nearly every weekend by a lap, with an e revo mamba.

RE: OFFICIAL MINI E-REVO THREAD!!!
ORIGINAL: MuggyDude Losi has just about the best 1/8 scale trucks out their, and really nice 1/10. They just aren't that into minis, though they should invest in minis. The 8ight 2.0 and 8ight-T 2.0 will spank any other truggy/buggy on the market, and the LST XXl/LST2 will drive wheelies around any other MT out there. Some of the best 1/10 electric racers are from losi, and they have been a major player in that area for years.
speaking as the owner of a revo and xxl, there is no chance that the xxl out preforms as revo at all. the only thing that it has on the revo is that its bigger, which is probably why it breaks a lot easier than my revo. the xxl is slower, tippy in corners, and doesnt have the overall quality of the revo. ive been through a backplate, servo, shock tower, and gas tank with only 1/4 gallon in the xxl. i do agree with you that the losi buggy/truggy line up is one of best on the market, and the electric racers arent bad, but the lst/xxl is nothing to brag about when your competing with the revo and savage.

As for a charger, I have heard some great things about this one from HobbyCity and it could ship with your batteries: http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=7028 You can certainly spend a lot more for a charger, but why do it if you don't need to?
