RE: 8ight Truggy
doesnt a higher tooth spur gear soften up the bottom. i notice a lot of guys with the 28s are running the 50 t cause it takes a lil punch of the bottom and brings the top end up. with the 21 i would say stick to the 48t because it adds a lil torque to the bottom from what i see. thats just my experience. hope it helped

RE: New AE SC8.
i think people looking to "make their own" could possibly look at the inferno gt. or i guess any buggy based chasis for that matter. as soon as i get some money im def. gunna buy one. but i think people need to stop worrying about if its going to be "the next big thing" or " a fad" or whatever, we all race or bash these thigns for our own reasons, mostly because its fun. and we need to get back to that. its fun, some people like racing buggies vs truggies, nitro vs electric...and who really cares. these trucks are cool as hell whether u want one or not. i think its awesome to see some real scale looking rcs. buggies and truggies are great to race, but they r just made for that. this is a truck that people will notice as a real replica of the real deal. how do you think they got all the corr driver sponsorships, wasnt because they kinda sorta looked like corr trucks. they are corr trucks. and i do think they will stick and i see every major company coming out with an 1.8th scale corr trcuk to compete (HPI, Ofna, Kyosho, Losi, etc) and stop comparing this to the slash and slayer, they r tenth scales!!!!

RE: Just Got an SC8!!!
^^^^ oops. sorry to get anyones hopes up. Looks like the Pro Comp ed. SC8 is the newest body style they are adding to their line up. They just brought on Travis Coyne from CORR on as a new sponsored driver for a new body style. On that note...again...sorry.... but I wonder if they will be adding anymore new ones. Id love to see a Johnny Greaves monster energy or Jeremy McGrath monster energy body style. Itd be nice to see a company like pro line or j concepts to come out with aftermarket scal bodies with pro designed gaphic kits/sticker kits.

RE: Just Got an SC8!!!
Does anyone know where to get the external glow plug module. Having the head for your glow ignitor mounted somewhere other than atop the engine is a great idea. Does it work with all engines, all glowplugs? I was going to get it to use on my lst2 b.c it has the Bounty Hunter body and it would make it so i do not have to remove the body and put it back on everytime i run it. it seems like a great idea. Any info would help guys!

RE: Just Got an SC8!!!
does anyone here race these at your local track? ive heard a lot are setting up seperate divisions for these trucks like they have for the slash etc. Just wondering, I see a lot of people putting dish wheels/tires on these trucks, but isnt the whole point to have a scale looking racer? i think they just need to make some new tread designs, like from pro line , but you should have to keep the truck looking scale. what do you guys think?

Yea i think im gunna hold on to the mach 427. even after this one blows. i like the roto start as i havent really had the cash to get a starter box, batteries, rr engine mounts. all money that i dont have to spend . i know the roto robs a lil power, but maybe one day ill convert one to a bumpo start. do they sell the venturis for the mach carb, or only the sportwerks one?

RE: 8ight Truggy
Hey Guys. I had bought an 8ight T RTR because it was my first truggy and didnt know what to really expect. There were no tracks real close by (closest one about an hour from me) and I wanted to race it, but really never found the time. I am now using it as a basher/racer for whatever races we do for kicks at my LHS -combo dirt/pavement races and drag racing.. But i just had my true "bash" session with it, and i cannot believe how durable this truck is. It was the only one out of 5 trucks, of them lsts, lst2s, savages and 2 infernos, to last all day. I didnt break one single part. Burnt out the stock throttle servo but that was it. Just felt like i should post this as a testiment to its toughness and durability. I really wish i could race it, but my schedule has been a lil hectic to get up to barnstormers and throw down on the track. Just my two cents for anyone who had questioned this truggy's durability.
